Delicious food, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We shared beef sheen, lamb skewers and zata’r prawns and for dessert it was booza and almond pancakes. Every dish was utterly tasty. Will definitely come back.

I don't understand why it is so difficult to cook decent food instead of this pathetic $9 steak sandwich where they used the cheapest cut of meat. It looked and tasted awful.

We went there for lunch. From the moment maitre d’ poured scented water over what looked like marsh mellow but turned out to be a wet serviette, I knew we are going to have something outstanding. And we did. Every dish showcased the chef’s outstanding skills both in taste and presentation.
For starter we were treated to two amuse bouche, that were absolutely delicious. My entrée of “Caesar in disguise” was packed with different flavours and textures while my husband was thoroughly enjoying his “Fish united”. For the main course we both ordered “Beef story part II” that was divine. We finished the meal with a plate of petit four for all of us and I had “Smurf’s and violent” desserts that was superb.
The service was impeccable, each dish carefully explained, the wine suggested by the sommelier was excellent and matched the food perfectly. Next time we would like to come there for dinner.

We were there on Tuesday night, the place was almost fully booked. We had spanner crab for entree and we both enjoyed it. I think there was a perfect balance between the sweetness of the crab and the heat of the dressing and we loved the avocado meringue.
For the main course we opted to share a flank waygu beef for two, it was perfection. We also shared a chocolate ganache, which I should’ve kept entirely for myself.
The wait staff is very helpful and attentive, the sommelier is very knowledgeable without a trace of being patronizing and the American red wine, I believe it is called Ridge Santa Cruz 2005, that he suggested was superb.

We shared scallop sashimi and veal carpaccio for entrée. Both dishes tasted great, fresh, with clean flavours. For the main course we shared half duck that was absolutely superb and ticked all the boxes and some great fries. For dessert I had chocolate and my husband chose crème brulee with fresh mango and lemon ice-cream, again excellent.
We loved the décor, very modern, sexy, with lots of textures all harmoniously working together to create a perfect ambience.

Unfortunately, I am unable to rate the food as it never arrived. After waiting for 35 minutes, we decided it is time to find out what happened to our order but it was easier said then done. The waitress, who originally took our order, was never to be seen, so the next five minutes were spent waving and calling in an attempt to attract the attention of at least one of the 5 other wait staff swerving around, but to no avail.
Finally one of the other patrons took mercy on us and pulled a waiter passing by and pointed in our direction, but the waiter only looked our way and went into the opposite direction towards a senior staff (we assumed) standing next to the computer. There both men got engrossed reading some information on the computer screen and that was when we realised that our order hasn’t been put through.
We called the waiter and asked him to come over, which he reluctantly did with a smirk on his face. We asked him if he could be kind enough to check our order that made him very unhappy. My husband then got up and walked to the senior staff (we assumed) trying to get to the bottom of this, by this time the rest of our group decided that it is good time to leave and get food from someplace else.
When I came up to my husband and said that we are ready to leave, the senior staff said that he did not care whether we were staying or leaving. When we asked him why our order is not ready yet, he said that the waitress who took our order got sick and went home about 10 minutes earlier. We then asked what happened in the first 20 minutes of our 30 minutes wait, but he could not come up with any comprehensible explanation, except blaming the girl that she didn’t put the order through.
None of the staff made any attempt to rectify or diminish the situation, clearly they do not care. Why should they indeed. Hopefully, the new business across the road, once up and running, will wipe the sickly smirk off their faces.

We were there last Friday for dinner. My whole backed baby snapper was delicious, my husband enjoyed the duck immensely and both of our kids ordered chicken and beef kebabs which were nicely marinated, tender and tasty.
For dessert my husband and I shared bomb Alaska, superb, the kids have an ice-cream (4 scoops are too much for 9 year old but that is the size of it) and a fig tart, soft light pastry, figs properly cooked, divine. It is our first visit after re-opening and although we enjoyed our desserts, some dishes from the old dessert menu were as good and we were hoping to see them but they were removed.
The staffs were attentive, knowledgeable and very child-friendly. On overall we had an enjoyable evening.
