Now I'm not normally an Indian fan, but I recently organised a birthday dinner for my father in law who loves Indian. Not only did he and the family love the meal, but I am now a Indian convert, loving everything I sampled.

On top of being so flavoursome, the dishes all contain good cuts of meat that are cooked to perfection. The prices are also very good value, plus not being license their byo service without a corkage fee is great for the hip pocket. Service is always deligent and friendly.

The only point it looses on, is that the restaurant is quite sparsely decorated, so when it's quiet the ambience can be a little cold. On top of good night out, their take away service is superb.

Just celebrated Mother's Day at L'Angolo Italiano and was extremely impressed, as was everyone on our table. The five of us shared the antipasto italiano and bruschetta, which was beautiful. I then ordered a pasta, which was better than anything I've tasted before, including my many visits to Italy.

The service was also friendly and they were only too ready to help. There was none of the italian arrogance you receive at places like Cafe di Stassio. My only wish was that we had booked earlier and managed to get a seat inside instead of sitting outside. Although it was quite fine, except for the intermitten noise of tram passing.

Highly recommend, and I'll be back for sure!
