This place makes a welcome change from shopping centre foodcourts. Located beside the water of sunshine plaza, Riba Kai has the usual cafe menu, foccacia's, sandwiches, burgers and chips (the chips here are especially good) but with better ambience.

I have to agree with the previous reviews, this is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. The service is outstanding, friendly, courteous, well-mannered and makes this restaurant a level above the others. The vegetarian pad thai ($12.90) was great and serving sizes are huge. Lunch time menu is a little cheaper than dinner but there are no differences in the portion sizes. There is a beautiful view of the river and the decor is authentic and relaxing. Would not go past this restaurant when I'm back in noosaville.

Amici has a beautiful position along the Noosa marina and it is a lovely place to relax and have a drink. The handmade pasta was fresh and delectible, however, my gnocchi was suffocating under the amount of the pesto cream sauce. The woodfired pizza's are thin and crispy and they have a great range of toppings. The major downside of this restaurant is the chairs, they are low and extremely uncomfortable and I wanted to finish my meal asap. The seating although undercover is all outside and therefore exposed to the elements so consider this when there are extremes in weather.

This is certainly the best vegetarian restaurant in Melbourne; the views of St Kilda beach are mesmerising and the ambience is light, comfortable and very relaxing. The buffet is excellent value for money and the 5 choices + rice ($18.50) is large enough for two. I like the idea of being able to sample a variety of dishes and they were all flavoursome and fresh. Excellent chai lattes and the desserts are also divine.

A great range of vegetarian options and the food was well presented although the fruit bread and corn bread were quite dry. The ambience is very depressing - it's dark and seems unclean with green painted flooring and greasy black stained fans. This establishment has great potential and with renovations it could be a gold mine especially with the friendly and kind staff.

Great fresh food that caters for many dietary requirements (vegetarians, vegans) with the pasta worthy of recommendation. Be sure to indulge in a main course as the desserts are not very inspiring. The service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is a little sparse and tired with bare walls and uncomfortable seating and can be quite noisy. The food is worth returning for though.

Excellent value and has an extensive menu catering for all dietary requirements (vegos, vegans etc). Food a little salty and heavy but is great for the price. The ambience was quite dark and cosy (beware if you are claustrophobic). Great midweek crowd, certainly value for money. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Surprisingly great service considering the previous reviews. Our waiter (an Asian gentleman) was very efficient, friendly and courteous. The food came out quickly, with excellent presentation and we were all pleased with what we had ordered. They also have a menu for vegetarians which is available upon request and they are willing to make alterations accordingly. Based upon this dining experience, I will certainly return.

The pizzas are one of the best that I've had; fresh ingredients and great combinations with many vegetarian options. They even have soy cheese. The dessert pizza (mango and white chocolate $11.50) is a must. Service was friendly and efficient. Fantastic food and excellent value for money. This restaurant is highly recommended.
Note: although Umago is stated as having wheelchair access, there is a massive step at the entrance. There isn't alot of room inside so I would request seating at the front.

Georges occupies a significant space but is in no way cold or desolete. The menu certainly doesn't cater for vegetarians so I settled for the bruschetta which was full of flavour. The ratio of staff far outweighed the number of patrons so service was fast and efficient and its great that you can see the chefs in the kitchen from the main floor. I can imagine this place would be perfect for large scale functions. Unfortunately, the lack of vegetarian options means I will not return. Excellent wheelchair accessibility too.
