Exceptional handmade Fresh pasta (difficult to find). I had the pasta primavera with gnocchi ($16.50) which was light, fluffy and flavourful. There is a wide variety of vegetarian dishes all of which look enticing. This restaurant could be heightened to new level and be classed as premium dining if it was more formally divided from the rather seedy looking food court cafe it shares it boundary with.

Service was very efficient and friendly and to my delight was given a complimentary chocolate birthday cake. The pasta is certainly worth experiencing.

This establishment is very dark and reminded me of That 70s Show basement, with a mish mash of old furniture, uneven floor surfaces and decaying curtains. However, the food was exceptional. The all-vegetarian menu is extensive and very tempting. We choose the pumpking skewers and pear and pesto fetta flatbread, both were fresh flavoursome and great value. It's a shame that the surrounds don't compliment the hight standard of dishes. However, if you can keep an open mind it's well worth dining here. I will certainly return.

The food was very bland, not creative nor inspiring and frankly quite unappealing. The decor was old and dirty and I could imagine an outbreak of food poisoning occuring here. I felt lucky to escape unscathed.

Cute little cafe with lovely pastries/desserts and an array of coffees and teas. Over priced for quality and serving size. Small chai $3.80 and cupcake $4.

This place is not short of patrons on the weekend, so be prepared to wait for a table. Vegetarians play an integral part in the menu and are not simply an afterthought. The food is fresh and modern and great value. A little chaotic on the weekend but the staff do well considering and are very friendly. The space is confined which prams and patrons in wheelchairs may find challenging. The chai is recommended. Will certainly return but probably during the week.

Global Vegetarian has as much personality as a hospital cafeteria. After receiving my meal for the second time (having made an error first round), the presentation was unappealing. This place is suffering from an identity crisis - mainly Asian menu with smoothies, curries and pastas. Morose food and atmosphere in great need of some anti-depressants.

A comprehensive vegetarian menu - salads, curries, wraps and burgers. The service was very good, although there were few diners. Let down by the decor - a renovation could do wonders for this vegetarian cafe. Worth returning to though.

Great place to visit on a sunday if you also enjoy antiquing, attached to Tyabb antique store. The food is fresh and flavoursome, extensive array of cakes. Excellent value and menu caters for vegetarians and gluten intolerance.
