Just went to Lime Thai tonight on a voucher. The two owners (both women) served up some delicious appetisers. We had the lime spice appetiser special prawn spring rolls and the thai fish cakes. They were both awesome. A new place that it's great to try.

Lovely hot chocolate and yummy dark chocolate. My companion is always asking to go back even though after having this chocolate drink and chocolates, he went into diabetic shock and didn't get out of bed for two days (his words). Will go back again. The girls at the counter gave us a free tasting when we asked. We had to buy some chocolates after that.
Ambience was good, stayed at a table and had a leisurely talk whilst doing my banking, the waitresses didn't mind. Also got to read a free newspaper.

Best shanghai food in Sydney. You can order three dishes for less than $25. I always have take away from these three dishes. The dishes that I order regularly is the xiao long bao (steamed pork dumplings), wo tip (pan fried or steamed pork dumplings, coriander or chives are best) and the zha jiang noodles (pork, cucumber hand made noodles). These three dishes come to under $25.
I am a regular at this dining institution.
The son of the owners have just opened a new restaurant two doors down, I can't wait to try his place, congrats yan on your new venture!

Best place to eat if you are in campsie, I am prepared to drive to this restaurant from as far afield as mosman. The food is good. The thing that sets this restaurant apart is the ample servings. Everytime I go there with a hungry big guy, they have been full and are happily smiling, satisfied with the portion size and the yumminess of the food.
I can't say which dish is the best on the menu. Some notable dishes are the hainan chicken and the prawn fried rice noodles with egg gravy. Overall, great value, good food. Will definitely come back again and again. Oh wait, I have come back again and again.

This is my favourite malaysian restaurant. having worked in york st close by for many years, this was my goto restaurant to take clients and friends for many years.
The kapitan prawns are divine, the lightly battered fried prawns covered in kapitan sauce is orgasmic. The sauce alone can be eaten with rice, I have done that on a number of occasions instead of ordering a second prawn kapitan dish.
The coconut consistency of the sauce with the herbs and spices makes this dish a winner.
Because of this dish, I have made the malaya my favourite malaysian eatery.
Tree the manager has been with this restaurant and has worked with the family who owns the restaurant since the inception of the restaurant many years ago. Hopefully we will not lose him to the lures of paris and his family members!

I have lived in ashfield for the past 13 years and this was my regular eatery through visiting the place and ordering home delivery through menulog. Both have been great.
My favourite is the yellow chicken curry (I don't even like chicken but I love the consistency of this curry) the coconut curry sauce is divine, I eat the sauce with plain rice its that good. I also like the curry puffs and try to order it every time.
Once ordering through menulog, I was given spring rolls instead of curry puffs, spring rolls were not as good. In conclusion, I can say that is my favourite thai restaurant in Sydney. Better than home thai and chat thai, only for those two dishes though.

Awesome partially cooked sushi. As I don't eat raw fish, tasting partially cooked fish at this restaurant made me a convert. The fish had a hint of smokiness that made it divine.
I was introduced to this restaurant through a coupon site. The thing that let the restaurant down was how it treated the people who had a coupon from a one day deal site. The first time I tried to redeem my coupon, once I had been seated, I informed the waitress that I had a coupon, she then said I had to vacate my seat and book, I was told to come back in an hour (the restaurant was only half full).
I then went to the japanese restaurant next door. I then tried to claim the coupon on another weekday, this time booking well in advance. I was informed that I could not book for 5:30pm as stated in the coupon and the opening time of the restaurant, I had to come later at 6pm (I queried the phone person and she said coupon people have to book for later).
Overall, the coupon made the meal worth it, but the way you are treated using it makes it not worth it to purchase. The rant said, the food was top notch, I can't fault it.
