I made a booking only few hours before coming on a Friday night and Brendan the owner answered my phone call very friendly and made me excited to visit the restaurant.

Our food was very lovely. Had the Scallops Florentine as entree from their specials and it was so good. I enjoyed my Poulet Larousse (chicken stuffed with prawns) and partner looked satisfied with his Canard a l'Orange (duck with orange sauce). My creme brulee dessert was very gorgeous! It was really pretty and yummy, absolutely made my night.

We were sitting at the back of the restaurant, far from all the crowds at the front and I was happy about that. Brendan came to our table for a couple of minutes to say hello and make sure we enjoyed our dinner, which is a very nice touch. The only thing I didn't like was our waiter kept coming back to our table every 5 minutes or he would stood in the corner watching over us. Maybe he was trying to be attentive but I don't feel comfortable.

Overall Larousse is a lovely place to visit on special occasions, or when you simply want to indulge yourself.

Came here tonight with partner, as soon as we walked in I fell in love with the stunning interior! It was quiet on Sunday night, but I could imagine the restaurant being packed on Friday/Saturday night.

Food was great. Tom Yum soup was a bit too sweet for me, but our mains (Choo Chee Prawns and Garlic and Pepper Chicken) were very nice! My partner decided to get coconut ice cream for dessert and the waitress came out with the ice cream, but told us that they didn't have enough ice cream and black sticky rice to make one good portion of dessert. So they gave the ice cream for free! How unbelievable! Other restaurants would've just told us to order something else.

Service was excellent, attentive without being pushy. I highly recommend this place! I'm so glad we came here and found this gem! I'll be a regular from now on.

Terribly overpriced! Location is rather nice but food is nothing special and I honestly expected great service for the price I paid, which I didn't get. Came here for my birthday and ordered chargrilled and seafood platter which they claimed their "special". Well I don't think so.

We politely asked if we could get something else to replace the kangaroo skewers from the menu and were told that they don't have anything "with the same value". So we asked the skewers to be taken off the platter and of course when the food came out the skewers were still there.

I'm also not impressed with the seafood, which is just the same as those cheap ones you can find anywhere. Trio bread we had as entree was really nice though, probably the highlight of the night. It will be my first and last visit to this restaurant, as I found quality of the food and service doesn't match the price.

Came here last night with a friend and we were very impressed! House is not your usual Thai restaurant. No plain Pad Thai, no boring spring rolls, even their Tom Yum is very different with what you normally find in other Thai restaurants. We had bamboo shoots-chicken soup which is described as "curry chicken" something on the menu but turned out as clear broth soup and really nice! We also ordered crispy catfish green papaya salad and liked it so much.

I appreciate it when the waiter asked us about how spicy our order would like to be, Thai food could be surprising sometimes ;) If you're not into spicy food, make sure to tell your waiter that you don't want it to be spicy at all (they'll still put a hint of chilli after all). Overall, the ambience is nice too, such a great outdoor space to be enjoyed in summer. The service is good and our food came very quick. Too bad we didn't have enough room to try the famous Better Than Sex so I'll definitely comeback soon! :)

After having dinner here last night, me and my bf agree that the food is just average. I had homemade gnocchi with cream sauce and pesto (I asked without pesto though) and my partner had lasagna. We had to wait for our drinks and bread for quite a while but when we reminded one of the waiters, she apologised and brought them out within 5 minutes. Nice service and good ambience but we probably won't come back.

Just went here last night, me and my bf had seafood taverna. For me the highlights were their salad and bread. Very fresh! I was also very impressed by their service, such lovely and friendly people. Unfortunately, the haloumi was too salty and the seafood plate was not very special, but at least not greasy. Overall, it's a nice restaurant and I'd be more than happy to give second visit.

Lovely food! I had a spicy seafood soup (Tom Yum sort of) and it was really nice. The Pandanus Chicken was okay too.
