A group of friends and I were curious to see what viking food was about and discovered that its very heavy and rich, similar to German/Swiss food. I ordered the main and dessert special and after a bit of a wait, dug into lots of meat, sauerkraut and iced glogg (viking grogg, similar to sangria). Very filling.

The service is friendly and attentive and they serve large portion sizes, but I couldn't help thinking that some of their dishes were a bit bland and not very authentic. Salt and pepper squid was the highlight for me. Bit baffled at their high rating, it's okay, but not superb.

Even though it's mostly a single-serving restaurant, the crispy chicken with noodles or tomato rice is pretty much the only reason you should march yourself into Tan Viet. Once you try it, you'll probably keep craving it too. It's always worth the wait.

Enjoyed dinner here a few times with my partner and with friends. I've never had a problem with the service, the portions are generous at great value and there's plenty to choose from. The grilled salmon is a favourite of mine. Their sukiyaki is also a great choice.

Stumbled upon this place with a friend when we were hungry and craving noodles. Tasty side dishes were a nice accompaniment to the pork noodle soups we ordered. Also liked how they let you choose the level of sour and chilli in the soup! The super chilli one is very, very hot.

Used to drop by here for casual work lunches, but the service tended to be quite slow or inattentive and it's a bit of a squeeze when you're seated inside. However, the pizzas and coffee are flavoursome and the meals always are generously served.

Great place to come by for quality sushi at a cheap price. Service is fast and they have a decent variety of dishes, including quirkier dishes, such as eel with cheese in pastries. Big fan of their grilled salmon and green tea drink!

I've been here a few times and have been happy with each visit, whether for a quick meal or a long dinner. The place is usually packed, but never had to wait for long. Last time my partner and I sat in front of one of the Chefs, John, who was nice enough to give us a few extra goodies on the house. Great service and variety compared to other sushi trains. Loved their wagyu beef!
