Being from out of town, this was my second visit to Etch as I enjoyed the first visit and wanted a consistent experience but this time wanted to share it with the family. The staff and food did not disappoint. The food was well presented, interesting and incredibly tasteful. The staff were very attentive to everything but not annoying in any way at all. It was a very comfortable night with great food, wine and service.

We had a young infant with us and we received nothing but brilliant service, even when the baby was a little noisy and unsettled. The highly attentive staff met all requests in a very pleasant and expedient manner.

The food was a mix of Asian styles but all blended beautifully, some of the best Asian food around. Even the desserts (not usually an Asian fare) were fantastic. The prices were not cheap and we certainy did get what we paid for, so we didn't mind the rather expensive bill. We ordered three entrees, three main meals and two desserts with coffee, all complemented by Japanese beer and wine. All was sumptuous and surprisingly fulfilling.

We are keen to return to try some of the other interesting sounding dishes. Choosing dishes from such an interesting menu was the most difficult part of the evening. Definitely a gem of a place on the northern beaches.
