A restaurant we return to again and again. Rarely order a pizza, even though they are delicious, but the pasta and meat dishes are a standout, in particular, mixed fettucine alfredo, chicken romana, veal lemon, spaghetti with eggplant, bbq squid. Never had a bad meal here. Portions incredibly generous. Garlic bread is the best I've had. Owner Don and staff very professional and friendly, they've been feeding the hordes great food for decades now. Decor could do with a bit of fresh paint, but otherwise very comfortable and cozy.

My favourite Thai restaurant! Have been here many times over the years and have never been disappointed. This is not your usual run of the mill suburban Thai with a predictable boring menu. Thai on Sky is unique and has a very innovative and superbly delicious menu. Taro and peanut cakes are a must for me - absolutely love them. Chef is a great character and wait staff can't do enough for you. Food servings are so incredibly generous and produce super fresh. Specials are always truly special and an all time favourite is the tiger prawns dish in tamarind - to die for! Love this place and if you don't like it then perhaps you're hard to please!?

Arrived for dinner and were seated in restaurant section as no tables available in bar section. Consequently had to order from different menu even though all food comes out of same kitchen and we were no further in distance had we in fact sat in bar area. Staff wouldn't budge on this issue so we had to order from other menu even though we had our hearts set on tasting plate from bar menu. Got stung on the beer at $14 a pop and glad we only ordered one each and tried cheaper ones after that. Dreadful service and attitude of waitresses. Disappointing experience and will never return.

Stopped here for a cold beer and lunch after noticing their Voted Worst Vegetarian Restaurant banner. Unfortunately, the beef/steaks they are promoting so heavily are their biggest downfall. Ordered hamburgers with salad tastier than their beef patty. The best part of the burger was the bun and salad. Patty was dry, tasteless and incredibly boring. Very disappointing, such a letdown after all their wasted marketing hype. Even though pub atmosphere was great and beers terrific, we won't be back.

Dined at Gusto for the first time for dinner on Valentine's Day. Value only rated a 7 because it was a set menu for this occasion at $55 per head and understandably these types of evenings are a little pricer. Fantastically lit and very attractive decor. Looked sensational for Valentine's. Tables tastefully decorated. Entrees ordered were salt and pepper squid, delicious but serving size a bit small with only four pieces of squid.
However, the boscaiola fettucine was splendid, fettucine was wide and appeared hand made, bacon was strongly flavoured and perfectly salty, a truly delicious dish. Ordered some garlic bread which we were told would be extra on top of set menu price. Shame some sort of bread was not complimentary. A good idea would have been two heart shape bruschettas to enjoy whilst waiting for entrees.
Red of the tomato would have tied in well with the whole Love Theme. Mains enjoyed were salt crusted rib eye. Strangely was not asked how I'd like steak cooked, but luckily came as I like it, medium rare. May be a problem for those who like their steaks well done. Didn't understand why half a small lemon came with my steak but not with the fish? Swordfish too perfectly cooked and also delicious with a type of pesto topping.
Desserts of mascarpone honeycombe and tiramisu were very nice and coffee was great. Will definitely return. Looking forward to trying the pizzas and revisit the delicious boscaiola fettucine. Thrilled to have found this place.

Have been planning to eat here for a long time and were not disappointed. Despite two very large party tables of young people we had a most enjoyable experience. Complimentary garlic bread was served not long after being seated, a great touch. Started with a Singapore Sling and despite the last time I had one was at Raffles in Singapore, the Heritage Court's Singapore Sling was better.
Entrees enjoyed were bbq baby octopus, cooked to perfection with delicious flavours and Japanese style natural oysters (topped with Oshitashi, Japanese spinach and sesame seed then decorated with Japanese mayo), incredibly delicious. Mains ordered were a surf and turf, great steak with small lobster on the side, cooked to your liking and filet mignon.
Surprisingly the filet mignon did not have the bacon around it, however, it was cooked absolutely to perfection and so delicious I didn't even miss the bacon! Unusually, we were too full for dessert. The menu is bursting with delicious dishes and we have already made another booking to sample other great dishes. We intend for this restaurant to be a regular for us, just wish we'd made the effort to eat here sooner !

Fantastic restaurant. Returned in the same week after such a great experience. Five of us ordered a variety of meals, all sensational. Service impeccable. Staff very friendly, extremely knowledgeable regarding menu and wine list. Great personalities with fun sense of humour. 1918 is on our list of favourites and a must-do when in Tanunda.

Upon arriving for breakfast my partner asked if they could substitute the scrambled eggs for poached for me. Staff asked the chef & he said that would be fine. I went in and ordered my poached eggs together with 2 coffees, a juice & my partner's breakfast. Payment up front (unfortunately). The waitress arrived with our meals and as about to place mine on the table informed me they'd mistakenly made me scrambled instead of poached. I advised her that I'd specifically asked for poached and the chef was aware. She rudely stated "so are you going to eat them?" I replied I wanted poached and sent the dish back. Some time later my breakfast arrived from the surly waitress with a "here". It looked like it had just been reconstructed from the first meal ie. toast stone cold and instead of poached eggs were two hard microwaved disks. Obviously had no idea how to cook proper poached eggs. Very disappointing experience and behaviour from staff. We were holidaying during the Tour Down Under. We visit Adelaide often but will never visit Al Fresco Pasticceria again.

Sensational - best food and service in Adelaide city. Dishes were all delicious. Place was packed but service was swift and extremely friendly. It was our first time to Taj Tandoor but it definitely won't be our last. Very impressed especially as it was Tour Down Under week and very busy in the city. Can't wait to return.

My partner and I ordered a very simple breakfast together with 2 coffees and 2 OJ's. Coffees and juices arrived promptly however after 40 minutes of patient waiting for our breakfast, asked the young waitress to check on our order. She never reported back. Waited another 5-10 minutes for our meals and subsequently had to get up from the table to grab someone's attention as staff tended to avoid eye contact.
After asking a second time about our breakfasts, a more senior waitress rudely asked where we were sitting and obviously after her enquiries found our order to be non-existent! Another senior waitress (perhaps owner) came over to our table and apologised profusely saying the order would be another 5 minutes or so. We cancelled the order as we had a plane to catch and thankfully, in a small gesture of good customer service, waived our bill on the drinks. Won't be back.
