Huge serving portions. The room and furniture is a bit cafeteria like, but okay for a casual meal. Nachos were pretty good and could probably have fed 3 people. Good value!

Spanish donuts with chocolate dip! Mmmm! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, dusted with icing sugar. Double Mmmm! A little on the expensive side, but a good treat once in a while.

Shrimp paste rice with chicken, oh so nice! A bit crowded, but very prompt service and good value for money. I'd go there regularly if I could.

Friendly, efficient staff. Dinner time gets really crowded and noisy, though, which is annoying. The pineapple pizza was yummy, the spaghetti bolognaise tasted like how I imagine canned dog food would. It tasted like how canned dog food smells, in other words. The fries were nice. Dessert and a few items on the menu were overpriced.

The food was good, but overpriced. Not such a fan of the decor or furniture, it seemed a bit cold and generic like a lot of other restaurants attempting the "trendy" designer look.

Great costumes and decor! We could even see a flock of cockatoos perched on the trees just outside the windows! The food wasn't fantastic, just okay. The pumpkin soup served upon arrival was a good start, but the buffet itself wasn't all that great. I found myself nibbling bits here and there, but wasting most of what I put on my plate.

Skipping to dessert, the selection wasn't much better. Mostly jelly and creamy, puffy cakes, nothing great. The portion of blue-veined cheese sitting by the crackers was the highlight of the entire meal, but even that disappeared long before half-time. Yet, the Cuckoo had a fantastic atmosphere and appearance, right down to the red and white checkered table cloth. Something quite different from the typical dining venue, I'd bring visiting friends and family there for the entertainment value.

Very nicely Thai themed decor (including cutlery and utensils), music and dimmed lights created the perfect setting for a peaceful dining away from the hustle and bustle of the street outside. The serving portions were small, but enough to share amongst three of us.

Went there for dinner. Dark, overcrowded, noisy. Aside from too much cheese, the nachos were simply delicious. Still, I think the squashed confines of the seating areas, the noise and the poor lighting might be enough to keep me away from dining there again.
