Food  4      Ambience  5      Service  1      Value  1

We ate dinner at Ole on Tuesday night in December 2011, as a family with 4 adults and a child, it was below par for many of the standard expectations of food service. The restaurant was half full with 3 staff members.

Disappointments : We found a hair in the food. For $17 sea-food dish I received 3 scallops in a plate, no more, no less. Mussels were over cooked. The paella for 2 people, fed 1 person. There was no bread on the menu, so we asked if there was, we received a microwave white loaf which cost us $9. Sangria was no real Sangria, it seemed more like a packet mix version. The waiter brought us the wrong meals. As we finished our water we had to ask consistently for our glasses to be refilled.

Good points - Paella did taste very good. The olive oil bottles on the tables were good. The food presentation was good. Nice setting in the southbank scene.

Even though the setting was nice, the presentation of food was nice, the restaurant looked nice, I would not eat there again as the quality of the food, the small portions and the price of the food and the poor service simply turned us away.
