This place was a disappointment. We waited 30 minutes for a table and the food was ok. If you have to wait that long for a table it needs to be Amazing!

The food is very very good for a pub. But we made a last minute booking for 9 people for a birthday. It was a Wednesday night and when we went upstairs it was a 'madhouse'. There were about 10 screaming kids and a large table of parents. Because the room is cavernous, the noise was deafening. We ended up going downstairs to the picnic tables beside the kitchen. It saved the night! Not much service to speak of.

I have no problem with the kids and noise really. I assume they were regulars. It just would have been good to know the deal prior so we could have made a choice.

I love this place! We have been going here for the past 5 or 6 years and will drive a long way to do so. The food is really simple but delicious, especially the lamb and mixed vegetables. The venue is basic, but I think authentic for a simple Greek diner. I hope it keeps going forever! You won't find more authentic Greek food in Sydney and it's well priced.

I ate here twice in the past few months. It is a good bistro, though I do not know why you would specialize in 'British' cuisine.

Most dishes were ok, especially the duck. However the 'corned (waygu) beef' was really bad. I should have guessed what was coming when I ordered it, but did not think it would actually be 'corned beef'. My mistake, but one I would not want to make again.

This was a bit of a mixed bag. Service was really attentive and friendly, the room is comfortable and quiet, unlike many restaurants. Also, the entree's were good, particularly the soufflé and then wine list very interesting.

The mains, however, were too bland. I had the pan fried salmon, which came in a broth with peas and carrots. It was almost inedible, and I am not too difficult to please.

It was a shame, because this place has so much going for it. It seems they are trying to be a blend of British and French, which could be the issue.
