The food here at Kafenes Marrickville, is probably even better than the cuisine at the Kafenes in Enmore, which is already the best Greek cuisine in Sydney. Phillip and Maria have brought their excellent food at Enmore, to their new restaurant at Marrickville, and made it even better. With a bigger premises, they have been able to add new things like live music, and a very good wine and spirits bar.

My friend and I, who admittedly are regulars at Kafenes Enmore, thought we'd try the new place at Marrickville, and were very impressed. Well worth visiting, and the parking is easier than busy Enmore.

A great new addition to Enmore dining, the Ra Bar Tapas restaurant makes a welcome change from the many Thai and Italian restaurants found along this stretch of Enmore Road. The owners Mark and Paula have done a great job in getting this place up and running.

The food is excellent, and the range of beers, wines and other beverages is very good. Besides the interior seating, there is also alfresco seating for diners out the back. The cuisine was a very interesting and tasty mix of Lebanese, Spanish and seafood dishes. Well worth a visit.

L'anxaneta is a welcome addition to Central Coast dining. I visited this establishment for lunch on 2 consecutive days, with friends, and we were all impressed with the standard of food and service. Ana the co-owner, does a very good job in running L'Anxaneta, and while dining, we enjoyed magnificent views looking out on Hardy's Bay. On both occasions, we enjoyed a very nice Spanish cider to start with, and with our meals, we were very impressed with the Spanish wines that we chose. There is nothing wrong with the service at L'Anxaneta, and it looked very clean to me. The Central Coast needs more cafes and restaurants like L'Anxaneta.

Excellent Lebanese cuisine, probably the best I've had in Sydney. Friendly staff and prompt service as well. I couldn't fault Kadmus in any category. A very classy but unpretentious restaurant.

A great new addition to Enmore dining. Authentic Mexican and Latin American food, friendly service, and value for money. BYO wine is allowed, but my friend and I finished our own wine, and then ordered a bottle of South American red from the winelist, which was very nice.

There is also a range of Australian and Mexican beers available to order. Our hostess made us feel very welcome, and we will certainly be back. There was also some live music provided, which finished off the evening very nicely. El Cuervo Cantina is certainly well worth a visit for an evening's dining.

The Glasshouse Bar and Restaurant is an excellent addition to the Avoca dining scene. Located on the top floor of the Avoca beachfront building, opposite the Surf Club, diners are treated to friendly, professional service and excellent food. I dined here recently with 2 friends, and we were amazed how good this restaurant is. Well worth a visit.

A great little gem in the heart of the Lane Cove Shopping Village. Unpretentious, friendly service, excellent pizzas and pasta meals, and veal and chicken dishes on the blackboard as well. Also BYO beer and wine, which is a great asset in my view. Well worth a visit.

I have recently revisited J.P. Da Brunos on 3 separate occasions, after an absence of several years. I have been very impressed each time, particularly with the choice of dishes, the service, and the general ambience. Da Brunos is as good as any Italian restaurant you will find in nearby Top Ryde or Gladesville.

I visited Boca Argentinean Grill with a friend, after reading Terry Durack's review. We were both very impressed with the level of service, the choice of excellent South American wines, and the wonderful meat dishes that we were served. The staff were very attentive, and looked after us very professionally. Very impressed overall, and I won't hesitate to visit here again.

Excellent meat dishes, good desserts, and no complaints about the service at all. Left feeling very full. My only criticism is that the restaurant could have a better range of beers on offer, and that they could provide better coffee! Other than that, I was very pleased with my evening at La Parrillada.
