I dined here a few weeks ago with a girlfriend. It is quite pricey. We each had entree, main and a dessert tasting platter to share. My main (beef) was lovely, fresh and cooked to perfection. My entree of stuffed zucchini flowers was bland and too oily.
The dessert platter was a miss for me. The pink pavlova was nice but not the type or standard of dessert I expect at these prices! The warm rice pudding was no bad either but again, nothing to write home about. We had a cocktail each and some coffee and the bill was over $250!
Whilst I might go back for a quick main, I won't be going back for the full deal. With those prices, I would rather go to the likes of somewhere else where my money will ensure me a menu with full success!

I had the pleasure of dining at Aria for a second time (first dined there a year ago) with my husband prior to xmas. Having had a few fine-dining experiences (Pier, Est., Quay...), I can honestly say that Aria has been my favourite to date. We did the 3 course lunch and each of our meals left us salivating in anticipation of the next. The service was outstanding and the ambience lovely. Matt Moran is a genius to be able to hold down so many jobs (TV) and run such a great establishment. I cannot wait to return...

My girlfriend and I, despite not being too impressed with the displayed menu, decided to give this place a go and to our delight were pleasantly surprised. I had the handmade prawn ravioli and it was divine! I had to go back the next week to make sure they were consistent. The service was better the first visit but the second time round the place was much more busy and the waitresses a little lost.
I love the licorice all-sorts being shared out of a big jar, novel way to finish a great meal. The only downside is it can be pricey for certain dishes. Whilst the prawn ravioli deserved its $26 fee, some other more simple dishes seemed somewhat overpriced. Portions are massive to be fair.

We dined here as a group of 4. We opted for the winter mid-week special which inlcuded 3 mezzes, a main and dessert plus a glass of wine for $48. Sounds good???
We ate the duck gozleme, mussels and lamb manti for mezes with the duck gozleme being the standout for me, however my guests contest that the manti was their favourite. The mussels left a lot for desiring... I wished we had opted for something else. Portions were small but we were keen to have our mains so weren't too phased at that stage.
Then the waiter asked us if we wanted to order some bread... this should have been a warning bell. The mains came and although I have to admit the food was fantastic, the portions were very small. Our 4 hour braised beef was to die for and Lamb shanks were served with a delightful chikpea combination. My partner had the Barramundi and he liked it also.
Desserts were the highlight of the evening. I could eat their desserts all evening! The trio of ice-creams were Oh My God yummy, the chocolate baklava perfectly 'modern' and rich and the warm rice pudding with figs a perfect winter dessert. The tasting plate was also unique and well received. Service was good however at times I felt the waiter was a little too quiet and hard to understand.
Overall you don't get value for money especially when you compare to servings at other restaurants. Food is good but say yes to the bread.

I dined here a week ago with my mother's group and again last Friday with my family. The food was great. We ate some fajitas, enchiladas, nachos and the various dips. All were fantastic and the kids especially enjoyed the nachos with the shredded beef which was so tender!
Both times we were seated upstairs and it is fine if you are a group but with a family it was slightly too noisy. Given we had booked an early table at last minute, it wasn't too bad as the 'groups' hadn't arrived yet. I definitely recommend it and my 8, 5 and 3 year old are already asking me to return!

I visited Bitton with my mother's group. I ordered the eye fillet which I have to say was the best eye fillet I've had anywhere! Cooked to perfection and my only criticism was it could be better with a little less pepper. Coffee was okay. My 3 yr old had a chicken schnitzel which he waited for more than an adult should have to wait to receive! I was a little annoyed at this as I didn't want to eat without him which meant my fillet went a little cold.
I didn't mind paying $20 for the fillet either but $10 for a kids schnitzel (which was average) was a little too much in my opinion. The other mums seemed to like their eggs benedict. I will definitely return for the fillet as it was really divine.

The best Empanadas in Sydney! You must try the Custard and Poppy Seed Danish too. Grab some lunch and head down the road to the waterside where you can have your delicacies and watch the kids play in the park!

Our dining experience was excellent! The service was excellent. We found our waiter very attentive and took him up on his suggestion to do a tasting menu. The Salmon Dolma, Biber Dolma and Pastirma were excellent dishes all living up to their hype. We had the Milk-fed Lamb and Spatchcock for mains and they were fantastic also. The flavours of the accompaniments matching perfectly. And the Fatoush Salad was the best!
All was great until desserts. The Creme Brulee was okay but Ive had much better and we also opted for the Assiette which I regretted. The Pomegranit ice cream was perhaps a little too tarty and needed more sweetness, the flourless chocolate cake was more like a choc-liquer slice and the Baked Custard was okay but paled in comparison to the Creme Brulee. This is where they lost a point in our books but we will definitely go back to taste all the rest of their dishes!
Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend!

We enjoyed Christmas dinner here after discovering most of Brisbane's restaurants shut down during the festive week.
The standouts for entrees were the seared beef fillet, the roasted pumpkin and buffalo mozzarella rotoli. Favourite main was the fillet and the desserts were all delicious even though I was upset that they were not serving the creme brulee on X'mas day.
Perhaps the best thing about our visit was that, for a fine dining establishment as Bretts, it was remarkably 'kid friendly' offering a fantastic kids menu and very reasonably priced. The only downside of the night was that whilst the waiter was hospitable, he was also a little too stiff or serious. All meals came out in great timing. I highly recommend this place and hope it gets a hat next year.

I ate here just before X'mas in their busiest period and everything was exquisite!
The food was unbelievable and even though we had to duck out early due to other appointments and missed out on dessert, we were still presented with some petit fours that also exceeded expectations.
The service was fantastic - not overly crowding as some high-end places tend to be but just the right amount of service and they were even accommodating to my friend's pram and bub. Overall I highly recommend this place.
