The food here is quite good and good value too, but only if you're sharing. Each dish is typically a bit bigger than you'd eat on your own (unless you are an athlete I guess).

This place is great! The food is always good and the staff and friendly and helpful.
Great vegetarian and vegan options available. The decor is pretty bland, but who cares, the food is great.

Terrible! Don't bother! Ridiculous expensive "fine dining experience"... tiny portions, boring food (I guess it's good that they don't give you much), no atmosphere, zombie-like staff. You could buy three meals (or more) elsewhere with much better food and all round better experience.

Not a bad place but the gluten heavy food never makes you feel good later on. (Why bother trying to mimick meat anyway? Surely they must realise vegetables are great without pretending they are meat!). I'd say this place has more of a novelty value than anything. I wouldn't eat here regularly.

Ok food if you're new to vegetarianism/veganism but really nothing special.

The service has been pitiful everytime I've been. Once I waited almost an hour, finally asked the waitress where our meal went and she said "oh sorry, I forgot"... we waited another half hour before the food came. Expect this.

The "pay what you think it's worth" option is rubbish. I've always found them a bit overbearing as they will watch you as you're putting the money in the box. (Not sure if they still use the box or you have to hand it to them.) Anyway, maybe pass by this place, I don't think it's really worth the trouble (unless it's dead quiet and then you can hope your meal will arrive within half an hour!).

Some good food here. Quite spicy when I ate there, so you might have to ask them to make it "mild" unless you really like getting your head blown off by chilli.
The ambience is nice, though when I've been there the whole place reeked of body odour. Hmmm not nice. Maybe better to take away unless the smell of someone's armpits is conductive to a good dining experience.

Firstly, this really isn't a "restaurant", more of a "take away joint" as it's not very nice to actually eat there. Feels as inviting as a McDonalds and the decor is mostly garish greens and other choice plasticky looking features.

The food, however, is great if you're vegan. Lots of great italian vegan food which you probably couldn't find anywhere else. Service: They are friendly, but quite robotic. Don't bother saying "hello" because it seems they have a standard intro they give you everytime (especially when they say "Knives and forks are other there..." etc.

But anyway, don't bother eating in if you have the option. Just take the great food and run!

Unfortunately, because this place has such a great selection, I think people get confused that the food is actually any good. It's not. The food here is ok, but not great. Pretty much every dish tastes the same. The service is pretty average, probably in part because they're so busy. But it's clear that none of these people are particularly passionate about their job

The atmosphere here is great if you want a busy noisy place and people bumping into you and seated on some awkward corner of a table with a lot of unwashed Fitzroy locals with a few general others thrown in.

My suggestion is you walk north about 200 metres and cross the road, because there is a far better fully vegan restaurant there.

Pretty much the perfect pizza for vegans/vegetarians. Heaps of cheezly (vegan cheese) if you want it and always huge piles of vegies. (I mean that in a good way, it's the perfect vegan "junk food" but apart from the fat in the vegan cheese, this would definitely be the most healthy pizza imaginable). (The service is great too!).
