Celebrated my birthday here and left disappointed with nearly every dish except the sides and dessert. Awesome potatos but not enough stars for the mains to pull up to pass and for the price really these days you can get much better quality in a gastropub.

Not sure if I still qualify to review since it was last year I visited Attica but was so blown away by the whole dinning experience I felt I should. Every dish was amazing.

MoVida Next Door, Melbourne

We couldn't get in to Movida so had to settle for next door even though it was early in the evening but if this is any indication I don't think I would bother with the big brother. Maybe it's meant to be rustic but at least if they were tasty that would have been fine but the 4 small plates didn't make us wanting for more.

Ocha, Hawthorn

Been to old Ocha a few times previously, new Ocha a lot more sleek and modern minimalist feel. Dishes were well presented and most of the entrees we had were good but mains were disappointing especially the noodle hotpot. A waste of time. Service was very friendly and helpful but the wait was quite long.

What a shame, the place was great for drinks and dinner but service sucks. Wish the service staff were less curt and more welcoming.

Unsual Asian eatery along Chapel St. From the name we gathered it was Asian but not sure which cuisine. As it turns out it "pans across Asia". Clean fresh and friendly. A bit under staff but when they arrive service was pretty on the ball Brought my mates from interstate and got brownie points for picking the venue. Love the seafood pajeri roasted coconut pineapple curry and the melt in your mouth confit pork with lup cheong wongbok. Wish it was a bigger serve. Good wine and cocktail list. At 10.30 when we stepped out the whole of Chapel Street seems to be buzzing with night life.

Been back several times since it was recommended to me by friends. Slowly going through all the menu. Best bun Bo hue (sorry if I get the spelling wrong). Even some of my girlfriends who don't like eating Asian loves the viet spring rolls and the pancakes.

Everything taste clean and fresh and sensational. Even the mash potato was amazing and the tomatoes just a burst of sweetness. Steak was seriously delicious. Only downside is the portions are small for a guy and left me wanting more.

Wonderful and helpful service. Staff were engaging and interested we have a good dining experience. Liked the mains chicken dish ordered but entree was ok.
