Overrated. They made a big deal of having the food come out in the order it was prepared, so that it would be fresh. My prawn and mango rice paper rolls came out first and the rice paper on one side was like cardboard. They were pre-made and sitting around for a while obviously. I can make way better ones and I am clumsy.
Service was slow. Food was actually disappointingly bland. Place was less than half full and was so slow. I had heard that Wagamama was Ok, but my experience was not very good. Won't be going back to the Bridge St one in a hurry, but might try a different one just to get a better picture of the chain.

Great authentic food, a very plain little place specialising in quick tasty and not expensive meals. Well patronised by the Asian students from Macquarie University - always a good sign. Great for a quick tasty and healthy meal option after the movies next door. Staff are attentive and friendly - even with some language differences! I'll be back for sure.

This is a local pub bistro dining room - big, bit noisy but busy most nights of the week - which is a good sign. It is not five star dining so don't expect that. The specials board offers interesting meals. Portions are big and we found the steaks were cooked as ordered. I had a huge pork cutlet on parsnip mash with parsnip crips on top - no complaints at all. Service was efficient, food was good, mains were around $24 - $28 which was very reasonable I felt. We were a party of 8 and we enjoyed it. I even went back again a few nights later and I will certainly go again.

Stayed here several times - great restaurant and bar. Service was mixed - bar and concierge were great. Reception was up and down, never really recognised us as return clients from week to week. Hotel had bad smell but only on one side. Also the rooms closest to the lifts Room 1 and 12 per floor I think from memory, had a lift well right behind the bedhead wall.
Doors were very noisy, any one at the back of the hotel was woken very early by the bottles being discarded from the bar/kitchen and the trucks doing the dumpsters. Pool was so chlorinated that the atmosphere was thick with it and you smelled strongly of it after wards.
Rooms were actually quite nice, well appointed bathrooms, but seriously - old CRT TVs in this day and age? Quite well located - close to Cafes and some good restaurants, and an easy walk to markets and the Gouger St and China Town restaurants.
Not bad, but there are better.

Very rare I'll give a 10 to a Hotel - this one gets 2 x 10s. This has to be one of Australia's best hotels. Quite unexpected against the 5 star hotels, but this one has it all. It is new, very clean, very friendly and the staff are simply magic. I don't know what their secret is, but the level of pride and service in the staff is just fantastic. I have stayed here numerous times as well as other hotels prior to its opening in 2010, and would not stay anywhere else in Adelaide now. I really enjoy staying and will look forward to my next stay. Red Salt Restaurant - great Exec Chef, great food, staff are excellent. Hotel Management really care about the quality of your experience - and it shows. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
PS - Opt for the odd numbered rooms - they face the front over the park. Evens face the carpark unless you are on a high floor and look over the top of it.

Have stayed here several times. Best ever was upgraded to the Governor Suite. A really great experience. Regardless, I always try and get a Club room and use the Intercontinental Club - great views, great service, a really good place to relax and unwind. I order meals while there and just soak up Sydney Harbour while enjoying a brew as well. Well worth it, highly recommend it. Staff are all great, very friendly and helpful. Slowest part is checking - even as an ambassador with a dedicated counter, it was slower than the main desk as they had to find someone to staff it !

I have eaten here several times now since it opened. I must say that the Exec Chef Bradd Johns has a fresh and local approach to the menu. The menu is well balanced and the quality of the food is absolutely tops. The wait staff are brilliant, friendly and Jon the manager is very efficient and friendly. I can very highly recommend this restaurant.

For a pub that prides itself on steak, it can be a little inconsistent. We have been here several times in the past 3 months. Sometimes the steaks are perfect sometimes they are not cooked as requested. One of our crew was served a "well done" that bled ! She won't go back as a result, however, the rest of us still return.
The value is Ok when you are on a travel budget. The non steak meals, fish, pork chop etc are good value and very nice. We all agree on one thing, the ribs are atrocious, not since spare rib rack, but a great slab of thick bone and fatty meat. Never again. Other wise, its an Ok place.

Not bad. We had a table of ten, not booked, and on a Public Holiday evening. We were outside the window looking at the menus when an elderly italian cigar puffing gentleman materialised from god knows where and began explaining the tapas and a la carte menus. We followed him in, cigar still in hand, as he organised a big table for us. Half an hour later when the cigar smell subsided, we were approached by the one poor waitress who was doing a great job coping with the filling dining area.
Half of Adelaides restaurants closed this night, so the open ones tended to do very well we found. We had a mix, some had the tapas, and some including me, ordered from the a la carte menu. I had a steak with potatoes and a piquant butter which was very tasty. Steak was good quality and beautifully cooked. Everyone enjoyed their meals, so I rate that as a success. Just need to get rid of that cigar please Mr Owner! I'd go back.

Went here after a function. Had a couple of their pizzas for the table and a couple of beers. Place is usually quite busy, alfresco area as well. Enjoyed the pizzas and thought the rest of the menu looked quite ok. Mostly a young crowd and all seemed to be enjoying themselves. Good food and service for the price. Worth a try.
