Great food! I had the scallops & the chicken breast which were cooked perfectly but the little dollop of sauces on each plate left me wanting more. Sadly, the drink service was abysmal with my empty beer left to lament for an hour without so much as being asked if I would like another. Later in the evening it appeared as though all the waiting staff were on a break as I looked around for more than 10 minutes to try & get the waitress to deliver the gluten free petit fors she promised at the start of the night. Overall good value but I want to enjoy a drink with my meal & not have to ask for someone to refill me.

Appalling drink service marred an otherwise great evening. Minimum 20 minutes wait for a drink. Worse still our first order came minus one of the cocktails we ordered so my partner waited another 10 minutes.

The food was delicious so this appeased the impatient reviewer. Lamb perfectly cooked and succulent king prawns reminded me of being in Hong Kong on a balmy, moonlit night. However, if one can't imbibe of the liquids which make an evening at Bloodwood so much more enjoyable the overall memory is stained by the complete disregard of the waiting staff to observe empty glasses or show any urgency in this area.

A 10 minute training session by management would solve this and increase their worthy profits considerably. I would definitely go back but order my next drink as soon as the first one arrived.

Don't bother with this place. Overpriced food and lack of atmosphere make for a dull night. Service was good but the food lacked excitement and taste. After hearing about this chef for so many years I can't believe he dishes up this bland, drab slop. It's not even worth writing any more because it would mean I have put in more effort for Tetsuya's than he has.

This is the most disgusting venue in the world. Rudest staffs in the history of mankind and management don't care. An absolute disgrace of a place. I wouldn't take my worst enemy to this shocking place. Our waiter had one of our parties in tears from his arrogance and managed to offend all 7 of us with his aggressive bully behaviour. Go there at your own risk. I'll fight these guys in court if they want to argue. I have 6 witnesses whose evening was ruined by this guy. I'll never eat Italian again because of it.
