Can I just mention first off that this was the second time dining here. First time was great, now with that said food was beautiful but the service poor. I'm mainly forming that opinion from the second visit. To the gentleman serving us I understand mistakes happen and orders forgotten thats fine. But to the other waiter who just gazed at me after I politely asked for him to check on our order You never returned and after serving others directly after my request, You are the sole reason I rate the service poor.
By all means dine here for the delectable spicy food. One things for certain I won't be eager to return.

Nice and simple. Dining here is great. The food was surprisingly good. We had ordered the pasta on the specials list and the burger with chips meal. Both very pleasant meals.

Quiet and surprisingly decent. Tribeni's a brilliant spot to dine local Indian. We decided to order our usual butter chicken dish with experimenting on a 2nd vegetarian dish.
The butter chicken was much sweeter than others I've previously tasted but still tasted great. The vegetarian dish was green in colour from the spinach it didn't look all that appealing but nevertheless was an unexpected delight. All in all I was expected more rice to be served.

We've dined here before and so on this visit we arrived with high expectations from past experiences. It turned out to be a different experience from the last. Even with our mediocre experience, its easy to get lost with the amazing 360 view of Sydney.
The starters of lobster and yamba prawn with cold smoked petuna ocean trout were decided upon and were a great start off. This was the start and end of our taste buds being treated. Unfortunately, from the mains the 'riverina spring lamb' was really dry. It was like a dry lamb patty cake with limited sauce to get the taste buds going. The '3 hour braised black angus beef cheek' was slightly the better of the two mains. There was a better tasting sauce and the meat was cooked very well.
Dessert was nothing special, it was just chocolate cake in my opinion with chocolate sauce.

Whilst I have had cheaper yum cha elsewhere, this has always been the place of choice. Not sure if its due to the service received or if just out of habit. The food is well worth a visit.

No major differences between branches. The Coogee branch looks, feels and tastes the same to its cousin in Sydney. Definitely worth a try.

I've been here many of times either just to enjoy company with friends on the drink or dining with family for a feed. Most of the time its been decent. There has been one occasion in which I can remember which it has stood out and not for the good. It had been a busy night and I had just finished my steak and ordered my apple crumble dessert.
I was given a buzzer which I though was strange, but being a busy night didn't think much of it. Five minutes had passed and I happened to have noticed some people who were standing behind me in line receive their orders which happened to be the same dessert I had ordered.
Fifteen minutes later and still no buzz on my beeper I thought I would check with the attendant. The attendant had advised me there were no more apple crumbles.
I then proceeded to complain and explained the situation to the manager who had heard about what had happened. He had in return apologised for the mishap and offered another choice from the menu.
To my discontent I requested to have the ice cream. The manager returned from the back once again only to apologise and explain it was still frozen solid. At this point of time I had absolutely lost it and requested for my money back.
Never again have I returned here for dessert!

Thai Spice is a lovely restaurant for locals. Great quality thai curries with decent prices. It is ideal for local diners looking for that one night of the week just to treat your taste buds.

Reading the previous reviews before hand and having had so many before me give this place so much praise, made my decision all the more easier to make the trip down. I now understand after having visited this place why its looked upon as a 'hidden gem' and rated so well.
As previous reviewers have stated the garlic and chilli chicken/prawn dishes were recommended and so we couldn't help ourselves and ordered this together with the soy chicken and sweet chilli chicken or something there abouts. (I've since forgotten the name of the last dish as this was my least favourite).
The food proved to be interesting and for a first timer like myself I can honestly say I enjoyed it. The entrance to this place can be a bit deceiving as you would not think much of this place from the outside. I would definitely come for a round 2.
