Don't know if this restaurant has changed hands, but they are woodfire restaurant now. Mainly focusing for pizzas but they serve daily hop pot trio as well. On a cool day we optioned to sit inside, maybe more atmosphere would have been found outside. Surprisingly the kitchen is located opposite side from the serving station, which creates an amusing theatre as the waiters 9and there are many of them) run around like headless chickens. Service was friendly and in learning curve, food (pizzas) healthy but tasteless. More fine tuning needed.

Where's the Firehouse-feel in this place, they should have used the premises (old firehouse) as a theme through the restaurant, instead it's unpersonalised nooks and grannies around. Menu is quite limited for lunch and more mediterranean style, shared plates recommended. Luckily breakfast menu is giving variety until 3 pm. Service friendly and prompt, bit disappointed of the pricey winelist.

This place is in the middle of nowhere, on an ugly strip. However once you are inside, it feels that you are somewhere else. Once you walk in, it gives you the feel of suburban bistro but it's more. Restaurant is busy with grey army and families, however it doesn't seem too noisy or chaotic. Service is friendly and attentive, menu quite big. Servings are big and meals tasty.

Worth of travel for lucheon on the weekend. Don't like how you can see into kitchen from nearly every table. Service is prompt and friendly, food typical pub food. The specials sound more interesting than meals from main menu. On the weekends there is live music which (depending who is playing) can be too loud. Big outdoor area with playground for easily bored kids.

Update: Have visited this place again, Oh boy, has it gone down. Place is worn out and service non existing, lots of young waitresses and not a single one of them can concentrate to their main job, serving. I suppose it’s more interesting to gossip. Delicious smell has disappeared and the food quality has left the building, young nearly under age "chefs" make the tasteless and under cooked meals, dough fights outside are more important. Well, at least these youngsters aren't on the street, well for now.
Previous review: Aaah! Delicious smell of garlic greeted us when we entered this restaurant. Pizzas were great and they even made thin base when asked (recommend). Cheery service will return. Returned on a week night and the story was different, quality of the food was down unfortunately. Portions are big but do not compensate the quality.

Food is good at this place, but the place itself needs updating. It's not welcoming and too many styles clash, bit worn out. Service was friendly but unorganised, sometimes forgetful.

Had a breakfast here on a cold winter's morning. Cheery coloring makes the place look bright on summer but somehow leaves you bit cold in winter, might have been the lack of table clothing too. Fireplace is nice and service friendly. Breakfast meals were big and tasty.

Roomy cafe with sofas, but bit dark inside. Menu has mainly sandwiches and salads, great addition is the availability of wine by glass. Friendly and attentive service, meals are lacking something, maybe creativity.

Tasty Thai food, servings to be shared. This restaurant should be experienced with time, as they space the courses beautifully. Location is lovely (luncheon) with sun streaming to the rainforest, you almost don't notice the distant traffic hum. True, the waistaff could be more attentive. Prices are bit high.
