I was there with a large group so we split up into two table of 9 and 5. The ambience and food are what you would expect at the typical "upmarket" Sydney yum cha restaurants. But what I thought was different actually the staff. Most were more friendly than the other yum cha places I have been to, it was easy to catch their attention and communication was easy.

Go there with a group for the fun and novelty factor (i.e. food thrown at you). The food was fresh but nothing special. Plus point: We all had the $38/per person set meal and the chef was able to accommodate a friend who was vegetarian. Service and ambience were comfortable and more suitable for groups (lots of shouting and laughing). Minus points: it's not an authentic Japanese place. No BYO and only one Japanese beer available. P/s: you end up smelling like food after so don't wear your best clothes/coat!

What a gem to find in the midle of Leichhardt! I was there with my partner on a busy Friday night at 9pm. We didn't have a booking but was lucky enough to get a nice table out the front of the restaurant when a couple left. It was the perfect spot because when the music for the bellydancer started, we could still hear ourselves. Food: Authentic, delicious and good portions so don't overload on the bread at the start! We didn't have to wait long for the food even though it was a very busy night for them. The restaurant always look busy so reservations are recommended and do get the seats on the front of the restaurant or inside (especially the seats with the cushions). Great place for groups or couples. BYO.

Huge place. Nice beer garden. Nothing really outstanding about this place. I was there for drinks so I can't comment about the food. It was a Saturday night this month and we were in the front bar area where the DJ was spinning retro. Not sure if that's the usual music genre for Saturday nights.

I went there with three friends last night (Friday). I concur with what "feed me, Seymour" wrote. The staff are also friendly and the service was quick. In terms of the food, some dishes are better than others but generally most people will enjoy the flavour, and the menu is diversed enough to cater to different tastes. If only they served "real" green tea rather than the diluted green tea that was served (they used very mediocre green tea bags). I like the sunken tables. Great atmosphere for small groups.

All am merely supporting all the good stuff that has already been written up. Really fresh, tasty Turkish food. Some of the usual staples on the menu with a sprinkling of other less common and interesting items. Pides are between $10-$13. Large servings and sincere (and fast) service. I didn't order the dips but looked in envy when a neighbouring table had their's delivered. Good place to drop by before or after a gig at the Enmore Theatre. Actually, the food is so good that I won't even need an excuse to come to Enmore to feed my pide craving. Take away is good but it's just as comfortable to enjoy a casual dinner in-house. BYO is always a big plus.

I was at the Bar area, not the restaurant. The bar menu was very limited only pizzas, fries and bread with dips. It was also rather pricey for a small pizza (prices starting from about $18 to $25) and the bread with dips was $16. It was delicious though - I had the pumpkin and feta pizza. Wine by the glass $5.90-$6.90. Nice atmosphere and music - chilled out.

This was the strangest dining experience I have had in a long while. The restaurant has a Hard Rock Café feel to it which is not a good thing considering that it markets itself as a purveyor of French food. We (about a dozen people) were there for a birthday celebration. Our waiter was friendly and efficient (hurried?) but it felt manufactured and not genuinely warm, again reminding me of those large American chain restaurants. The food was disappointing - the salmon I ordered was dry, plain and very expensive ($28 + $6 extra!!!). I was so bored of my salmon that one of my friends (who ordered the kangeroo fillet) offered to swap meals with me halfway through. Surprisingly, in contrast to what some previous reviewers have commented, I enjoyed the kangaroo fillet - it was nicely done (tender) and the well complimented by the plum sauce.
The desserts were very ordinary as though it came out of a package. The middle of the cheesecake was still frozen! I pity the couples who were dining around us because we were not the only large group there that night and it was really quite noisy. I concur with what has been said about the confused décor. I didn't know what to make of it. To top it off, at the end of the night they also messed up our bill and over-charging us. What a way to dampen a night that was supposed to be celebratory. I will not be back.

I was there with my partner on a Friday night at 9pm. We didn't book but was lucky enough to get a table. The food was very fresh and authentic. The atmosphere was cosy and bustling. The staff was very friendly. The menu varied enough to suit any palate and budget. I will be back again soon enough I am sure. BYO.

Relatively large menu. The house special calzoni (with smoked salmon) was delicious. Pasta was quite ordinary. Good for big groups. Friendly staff.
