Nice looking restaurant. Service was spot on, but the food is seriously overrated. Beef was cremated and quite revolting. Clearly they don't taste the food themselves. Nobody at our table was overly impressed. Finally, take a ski jacket. Its a freezer in there!

A lovely location. Service was good and the value for money was OK. However, a curry is a curry. Tandoori chicken is tandoori chicken no matter where you eat it. Basically you can get the same quality food in a North Indian diner. Its really nothing special. We won't be rushing back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Had the lamb and crab for mains. Service was outstanding and the location is lovely. The only thing I didn't like was the space limitations. It is quite cramped. But overall is was a great meal and very reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

You would truly have to be mad to eat at this place. Unless you like the idea of mortgaging your property for a piece of charcoaled crud!

Had a few bevy's and a bite to eat here with my GF last week. We were both pleasantly surprised. We shared the soft shell Tacos, some Haloumi and lamb skewers. All the dishes were delicious. The drinks menu had something for everybody and the feel of the place was quite trendy but friendly and relaxed at the same time.

The manager who did introduce himself but I forget his name was very accommodating and he gave us a free round of drinks. I hope they do well because it looks lovely and the staff bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable. Looking forward to our next visit.

Average food, outstanding service. Way too expensive for Maroubra though. If you are in 2035 Sushi Train is by far the best choice in terms of food and value for money. Don't waste your time at Koko's. Sorry guys.

Before you visit the CBH restaurant or pub you have to understand that it is no longer a real pub. It is a supercharged, money making machine whose management and staff have no respect whatsoever for the patrons, locals or backpackers.

The food used to be reasonable, now it is way overpriced, poor quality and totally unsuited to the location. Try the restaurant in the Legion club directly across the road upstairs. The vitamin S enhanced bouncers hired to maintain order in this awful place are one week out of the big house. I have seen people punched in the face, thrown out of the front door, flat on the pavement.

I once had lunch with an 81 year old uncle in the CBH beer garden. I cooked the steaks myself so the food was ok. The same afternoon we were sitting in the sports bar after having 3 schooners each. We were sitting down watching the cricket and we were asked to finish our drinks and leave. We were both completely sober, watching TV.

I would like to repeat, my uncle is an 81 year old returned service man who is possibly the politest man on gods earth. When we asked why we had to leave they told us, 'if you don't leave you will be thrown out by force'! I understand that they have alot of riff raff who do cause trouble, but I can't make any sense of the way we were treated. Bullying an 81 year old and his harmless, (sober) nephew.

The management and staff of the Coogee Bay Hotel should all be ashamed of themselves! Do not visit this establishment under any circumstances! I will never return, I would rather be dragged across a field of broken glass by two wild african elephants.

Choys is an institution. These guys have been there for over 30 years. My great grandmother loved the place, that's how old they are. The service is always friendly and efficient. The food is delicious, I love the honey, pepper sizzling chicken. The San choy bow is also a favourite, fried ice cream for dessert, the list goes on and on. When you're in Randwick, eat at Choys! You won't be disappointed.

Went here for dinner a few weeks ago. We were wandering around checking out all of the restaurants in the area when a very friendly English waiter (possibly the manager) came out on the street and invited us inside to have a look. We were given a nice quiet table near the door.

The service was outstanding the meal was excellent and overall ii was a most enjoyable experience. We had starters, mains and the tripple dessert, which is basically three desserts of your choice to share. Plus we had wine and beer as well. The bill only came to around 130 dollars. Very good value considering the quality and quantity. I would highly recommend it and will be back for my girlfriends Bday.

I cannot get enough of this place. I have eaten there every week for the last 2 years and I love it more and more everytime. Without a doubt the best value, best quality Japanese food I have had.

Sashimi main is sensational, Pork Katsu, beef tepan are all excellent. There is really something for everyone here, not just sushi and sashimi, plenty of meat for the boys as well. Lovely staff, clean and cozy place. I can't recommend it enough.
