Great little family run restaurant. It can get noisy as it did on the night we were there. I can never understand why people have to scream and shout in a restaurant, come on have a little consideration for others. The waiter was very good and friendly, the food well presented with lots of flavour. We had a nice time and will go back.

The food was a bit hit and miss. Some dishes were better than others. They are trying hard and the French staff are lovely. Maybe turn down the Piaf music a notch or two it was very noisy the night we were there and with Madame Piaf doing her thing our table gave up any hope of conversation.

The food is very average in this restaurant and I am not sure why it has such a high rating? The waiter (could be the owner) was nice.

This restaurant has really improved lately. It is a charming room where the artwork changes regularly and the flower displays are beautiful. The food is very good and nicely presented. This restaurant is trying hard and it shows.

Went for dinner on a Friday night, the place was empty but there was a big function next door. It seems this place caters to functions rather than a restaurant. The room is very bare, no table cloths or place mats, just a wooden table top to eat off! The food is extremely basic, more like cafateria style, and nothing like the pictures on their website. Unfortunately, when we were there it was raining and the big glass doors were closed, so no view either.

A great local in Northbridge. The menu is simple with good pub fare. Nice to see table cloths in a pub dining room. Young efficient wait staff. We'll keep coming back.

With a location like this you would think they don't have to try too hard with the food. Surprise, the food is beautifully cooked and presented. Staff are attentive, the view is fabulous. The only slight negative is the noise level which was certainly up there with a very rowdy function at one end of the restaurant. An excuse to give up on conversation and concentrate on the delicious flavours on our plates.

We have eaten here a few times the food is always good, the staff are always smiling and charming. The only downside is the noise level which can get unpleasant at times. Don't come here if you want a nice quiet chat with your dining partner.

Myself and overseas guests had lunch here on Sunday 23 Oct. There was a ham baguette on the menu and my friend asked if she could have cheese instead of ham. The very rude waiter rang the kitchen, came back and said it was not available. My friend said that there is a cheese platter on the menu, so they must have cheese in the kitchen. The waiter first said that it would cost at least $30 for a cheese baguette and then told us there is a Subway down the road and suggested we go there instead. Since we had already got our drinks this was not an option. The food arrived and it was horrible, my friend settled for the ham baguette which contained the cheapest meat from a packet. When the same waiter asked how the food was, we told him it was horrible and that we should have taken his advice and gone to Subway, he agreed. Draw your own conclusions. This place is a tourist trap and only survives because of its location and the view of the Opera House.
