Disappointing experience at Good Thai. There were 4 of us mid-week and the restaurant was not very busy, however, the service was poor. The food was nothing special, the Pad Thai was strange, however, the soft shell crab was nice. The prices were very reasonable, but this restaurant needs to do a lot more to compete with all the other Thai restaurants nearby. I won't be going back.

Kazbah On Darling, Balmain

I had a midweek dinner at Kazbah with a friend and we both loved it. The decor is very nice and the service was excellent. The waiter gave us some great suggestions on the food and wine, without being pushy. I really enjoyed the meal and overall it was a pleasant change from the multitude of Asian restaurants around these days. I'm looking forward to trying their breakfast!

Epoque Belgian Beer Cafe, Cammeray

I have long heard about Epoque and was looking forward to a lunch visit, however, was bitterly disappointed. We had salt and pepper calamari and garlic prawns to start, which were nice, but nothing special.

For mains we ordered the mussels provencal and moules mariniere, which were rubbery, small and tasteless. Also 50% of the shells were closed and the waitress insisted they could 'steam' them open, however, it was a bit off-putting. The following Sunday I had mussels at Sydney Fish Markets and the difference was amazing, fresh, tasty and delicious. I won't be visiting Epoque again.

Ripples at Chowder Bay, Mosman

I went to Ripples Chowder Bay for a work lunch and there were 8 of us. The setting is beautiful, very secluded and would be a great spot to take overseas guests for somewhere different to the normal tourist haunts. Overall the food was very good and the restaurant had a nice selection of wine. The only negative was my main course of duck was over-cooked, but the other courses were delicious and my colleagues enjoyed their food. The price was very reasonable considering the location and menu.

The food was very nice, although quite pricey. I think it's a bit cheeky to be BYO on every night except weekend's and to be honest, puts me off returning.

Very good food, the best meal I've had for a while. My husband had the Barramundi with king prawns followed by the Bombe Alaska (delicious), while I enjoyed the Rack of Lamb and Creme Brulee. Service was very good and it has a nice atmosphere. I would suggest booking as the restaurant is quite small, but the tables are carefully placed so you don't feel too close to others.

Nice Thai food and the decor is lovely. I did find it a bit noisy sat at the window seat when the buses go by, but overall a nice restaurant.

I would have take away from the Thai Noodle Hut almost every week and it never disappoints. Very tasty, fresh food and one of the best in Sydney.

My husband and I had a really nice meal at Mumu. We started with break and dips, then I had the Angus sirloin and my hubby had the Rib Eye, both steaks were tender, juicy and very tasty. Despite feeling sufficiently fed, we managed to squeeze in a Brown Sugar Pavlova with pineapple and passionfruit. Now I am not a huge fan of pavlova, but this was absolutely delicious! The service was very good and we will be back.

Very popular restaurant with delicious Chinese food. There is a car park underneath which is convenient and they do a good take away/home delivery. The service is generally good, however, they do get a bit stretched when the restaurant is full.
