Excellent!. For $13 the mixed platter is not only exceptional value but the food is fantastic! I visited for the 1st time during the week and was totally impressed. A must if you want to try great lebanese food at a modest price.

Now folks, I visit this place often and may I suggest you choose from the take-away menu, very good value for money, served up with that Greek arrogant attitude from the host, 'like I need you for a customer'....ahhh I love it, reminds me of the time I was dining at a restaurant in Greece and our waiter verbally abused me for questioning his judgement.

For a very casual dining experience this is good value for money, the lamb yeeros is my favourite and the chips are unique.

The caramalised fig saganaki and the lamb were superb! Everything else we ate - salads, dips were very average to say the least. I don't understand why George insists that 'true' tarama is made with white roe only? Modern greek cook books written by well known modern greek chef's residing and cooking in Greece, use both pink and white. The pink is considered to be of superior quality. HR is somewhat overated.

Take it from this Greek who has absolutely no connections with the owners, these guys know how to present and offer excellent greek food, bravo, the lamb is to die for not even my mother or my aunts can cook it in this fashion, excellent, a must in your list of greek eateries.

The days of the great Steki I feel are behind it I'm afraid, there are better Greek venues in Sydney that are far more easier to access and offer better value for money.

Great food. Tip. Order the banquet, great value for money But be sure to ask for the lamb at the start of the meal otherwise you will struggle to get through the courses, good value for money, great food and service.

Small humble place, but excellent food and warm service. If you're about dining to be seen don't bother, just stick to your overpriced, at best, average food dining experience. I trust El Manara won't change its approach, keep up the good work fella's.

Wow!. 1st time visit on a Monday night and the place was practically full, fantastic food, fresh, clean, full of flavour and excellent value for money. Good atmosphere, freindly staff and down to earth casual dining, good stuff.
