Went on a date to Sandbar, it pays to book early as we had the best seats, and what views! Apart from positioning the service was the stand out. Menu offers a good variety and you can BYO. The garlic bread was average but the Barramundi and Rump were delicious. Would definitely return to Sandbar!

Admittedly bought a daily deal, otherwise wouldn't have got there. Expectations shadowed the experience - with or without a deal. 1 dish was bland and unattractive, the other one tastier than it looked, but overall only just 'Ok'.

Been twice this year dining with large groups. This restaurant is good old-school style Italian, no bells and whistles just yummy food at reasonable prices - something that you can count on these days.

We thought we were going to be filled up on side dishes to start, but now understand the reason to have these on the table first as once the skewers of meat are brought around, they don't stop! The inital thought of starvation quickly vanished. Service was really good and friendly.

Dined with a large table of friends recently after deliberation over which Thai restaurant to patron, as there are 3 on the same block! Service and ambience were the quaint stand outs. Would be happy to return though!

Acoustic show and dinner ticket seemed pricey, but the food was really good, made the whole experience easier to stomach! Worth returning for entertainment options.

So much on the menu to choose from! Takeaway the first time did not do La Mesa justice, maybe it was the dish I chose. Dined with friends on a Saturday night, food was lovely, service with a smile, location so-so.

Large table of us on a Saturday night, we ordered 1 of every different kind of dish on the menu, all were tasty, authentic and prompt. Service was quaint. Would be great for lunch on weekend. Cheap 'n' cheery.

Knew this place before when just a Deli. Whose-ever idea it was to expand the tables and serve pasta into the night is a genius. Honest, tasty pasta and great value. We'll be coming back!
