I liked the pizza bases, thin and crunchy. Other than that a pretty stock standard woodfire pizza joint. I didn't purchase any alcohol but the beer, spirits and cocktails seemed pretty cheap.

The food here is too expensive for a pub. The Chicken Roast was nice but at $15 it was one of the cheapest things on the menu, most stuff is $20-$30. Whilst the pub looks nice from the outside it is pretty dull inside and not a particularly great place to eat. There are not many tables in the bar area and the dining room has weird blue lighting.

Finally a place to get decent food on Parramatta Road! I have had nothing but bad experiences on Parra road since moving to Leichhardt, but this was an exception. Ordered the honey chicken & Chinese broccoli with crispy pork and both dishes were tasty. I wouldn't eat there as the place looks a bit run down, but Ploy Thai is a good option for takeaway.

Nice cafe! Went there for Saturday lunch and had the Jolly Burger (it was huge) and a gelato milkshake. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. I will go back!

I have been to Nostos on three occasions and it is a brilliant restaurant, one of the best I have been to in Sydney. The food is lovely, I particularly enjoy the entree cheeses (feta, haloumi and saganaki) and the baked lamb. The service is probably the best thing about the restaurant, the staff are so friendly and attentive. Peter (who I assume is the owner) always comes up to you to see how you are going which is a nice touch.

Nostos is also great value, the food is very reasonably priced, and I am always given something free, whether it be liquor or dessert! My only semi-bad experience was last time when I went. Our waiter corked the wine and the veal dish was different to the one we ordered. But the service was so good it didn't really bother us that much. Always a great experience, I recommend Nostos to anyone!

Went to La Parrillada on Thursday night for the $19.90 all you can eat deal. My girlfriend and I aren't big eaters but it seemed like good value and a chance to try the restaurant. The place was about half full, and while the decor was a bit tacky it seemed friendly enough and I felt comfortable.

We ordered a jug of sangria and the all you can eat for two. The sangria came out fairly quickly, however, after 45 minutes the only food we had received was 4 tiny chorizo sausages and 3 bread rolls. Eventually we got our meat platter, along with chips and salad (it was one of the most basic salads I have ever had at a restaurant). The meat is basically like what you'd get a friend's bbq on a big plate. I found the food very mediocre, and the meat was very salty, particularly the chicken.

One of the most alarming things about La Parrillada is the bench outside the kitchen. The waitresses put dirty plates on there and clean them off into a bin below, but also leave food up there after it comes out of the kitchen, particularly the salads which seem to stay up there for an eternity before they are served. At one stage I saw a waitress wipe down the bench, then put bread rolls into an oven to heat them up before serving them without washing her hands. All these sort of practices are in full view of most of the restaurant. It's a worry if you ask me.

To be honest I was relieved when I finally left the restaurant, what started out promisingly ended with me wondering why I ever walked in the door. I won't be going back.

What a great restaurant! My friend was in town and I had wanted to take him to Nostos however it was all booked out which I didn't mind, as it was a opportunity to try Thai-namic after reading some of the good reviews.

We ordered the prawn chips, curry puffs, salt & pepper squid, beef panang curry & chicken wok-toss with cashew nut. The food was delicious, particularly the prawn chips (best I've ever had) and the salt and pepper squid.

The ambience is also great, I particularly liked how food is left in front of the statues of the gods, very cool. The service is friendly & quick, and at around $60 for 3 people the value is also a winner!

I now rate this restaurant in my Norton Street 'Big 3' along with Nostos & Braza. Some of the best Thai you'll have in Sydney.

Went there for Sunday lunch with a group of friends. Pizza was nice, although nothing special. Having read some of these reviews I was expecting bad service, but it was good enough, then again the place was pretty quiet. It was a nice setting for a Sunday afternoon lunch but I wouldn't rush back.
