I ended up here on a number of occasions, partying well after a number of bars were shut, good times to be had by all. Bouncers look nasty but they're friendly guys and the bar staff are top, relatively inexpensive.

I had a splendiferous meal at Galileo, the dining area is spacious and fresh feeling, the staff are swell-it's not cheap but take your latest conquest there and she'll think your a real suave-Gent.

Every PJ's is the same, it's just in a different location, drinks aren't that cheap/good, food fills the gap, but is essentially very average, interior isn't dissimilar to a quaint, old English pub in the sticks, so pretty uninspiring, I didn't feel like I was in a bar in Oz, But in PJ's defence, the sports coverage is excellent and I had a very good time whilst watching the rugger there. Bar staff, more attractive and friendly in Cairns PJ's...

World Bar, The, Kings Cross

Excellent, I myself love the Cross. I stayed there for a while and the World Bar was my local of choice, great people, great staff, good drinks and you know it's going to be a good night out if you start your all-nighter there!

Trying to be a swanky, City bar, it's not in London, NYC, etc..it should embody what makes Australia so great, instead of trying to be something it clearly isn't. Allthough, Estate Agents would love it, very superficial indeed-promises to be good, it just doesn't.

It's a GAY-BAR, full of nancy-boys, so unless you are one yourself, don't make the mistake I did by going in there, especially not in a sailors uniform..ouch!

Decent bar but too expensive and the dress code is whack, thongs? Live music is usually excellent. Well you get what you pay for..good on Sundays.
