I have been going here on and off for the past 25 years. We only go on special occasions as it is much more expensive than other chinese restaurants. I would say that the food is nicer and better quality than other chinese restaurants for sure so you should go once and then decide how often to return. I would estimate that dinner for 2 with entree, 2-3 mains, rice and bottle wine and 1-2 beers would be around the $100-$150 mark.

We always enjoy this restaurant. The staff make you feel welcome and there is a relaxed atmosphere. The food is great and very fresh. The staff are very nice to the children and make them welcome which is important when going out as a family. You might pay an extra $2-$3 per dish than other chinese restaurants but I think it is worth it.
The owner is a lovely guy and also makes an effort to come around and see you and occasionally giving free port and other gifts. Ideal for parties and groups but can also have a nice dinner together.
