The food is ok. The portions are decent. The restaurant is well located. But that's were it stops.

Terrible service, Horrible looking restaurant and definitely not a place you would want to go again.

You feel like you are having a meal in your garage. The wait staff speak no english and would never come to your table to take an order. Every time we wanted something we had to go up to the billing counter.

Would never go there again.

What a disappointment.

I entered the restaurant and was quite impressed with the old school decor. I asked the waitress what was so unique about the Northern Spanish cuisine. She said 'Nothing, its all the same'. I was disappointed right from the word go. Out of courtesy I ordered the warm mixed tapas platter to share.

It was utterly awful. I have never tasted such bad tapas in my life. The potatoes and mushroom seems straight from a jar. The prawns looked very very old. The chorizo looked like the ones you would get in Coles. There was nothing to like about that dish. I decided not to order any further and save myself from an upset tummy the next day.

We left the restaurant with a vow never ever to return back.

A fabulous restaurant located in the heart of Newtown. The restaurant can seat about 300 odd people and what was amazing was that there were at least 8 people outside the restaurant waiting to be seated. Very very impressive decor and ambience. I did have very high expectations of this restaurant because a lot of my friends have spoken very highly about the food and the restaurant.

We had a booking for 17 people and the wait staff took good care of us through our dining experience. The wait staff were extremely attentive to our needs and ensured that we were happy.

Food: Was good overall but I thought they were a bit small. We ordered the Seafood Choo Chee Talay - And it was a very tiny serve. The Crispy Pork Belly which costed us about $23 was a waste of money. The pork belly was not at all crispy. The curries were beautiful. Smooth and silky.

Loved the Red Duck curry and the Pad Thai. I definitely would not mind going there again and try something new. All in all we had fun.

Highly Disappointed!

I ordered the tomato based risotto and I have to say that was the worst dish I have eaten till date. They made me a tomato based risotto with tomato ketchup. It was utterly disgusting. I have never tasted something so gross my entire life. I felt like puking. I would never ever go there nor would I recommend anyone to go there. Newtown has a number of brilliant restaurants which you should try. This Czech place can take a miss.

Just a piece of advice for the owners. If you do not know how to make a risotto do not have it on your menu. Let the Italians worry about Risotto’s. I am sure you have other dishes which are good. Why not focus on them.

It appeared to be a beautiful restaurant on Glebe Point Road. Decent decor that would catch anyone’s attention. Had a look at the menu and it looked quite appetizing. I normally have a habit of asking the wait staff to recommend the best items on the menu. The waitress seemed zapped as though I asked her to come out on a date with me or something. She looked at me all puzzled and said everything on the menu is good. Not a very good first impression.

I decided to go for some basics, I ordered some garlic bread and the prawn risotto. It took them more that 25 minutes to get the garlic bread. I was starving by then. When it finally arrived, man I was so disappointed. They served me garlic bread which was soaked in butter. I am sure if I had squeezed the oil from the bread I would collect enough oil required to bake some cupcakes at home. I did not eat the garlic bread. I was simply amazed how a kitchen staff can get garlic bread this wrong.

After another 20 minutes the prawn risotto arrived. The dish had 3 prawns, I swear 3 prawns and a handful of cooked medium grain rice (not the rice used to make risotto). I felt like I was having Asian prawn fried rice served to me as an appetizer in a yum cha restaurant. An absolutely mockery of a wonderful dish called ‘Risotto’. If you have $25 to donate to Roxanne I would suggest you to go there or else you are better off having a burger at McDonalds.

A beautiful Thai restaurant in Thaitown. What amazes me is the fact that there is always a que of atleast 10 people waiting to get a seat at this awesome Thai restaurant. I have been to Thailand 3 times now and thanks to my Thai friends I have been to some of the best restaurants serving Thai food in Thailand. I have to say the food served at Chat Thai has to rank amongst them. Beautiful Thai food. They serve true blue authentic Thai food. Be it the Entreez, Stir Fryz, Curries, or the noodles.

The food is brilliant. I have been to Chat Thai more than 30 times and I think I have tried pretty much their entire menu. And I must say never once have I been disappointed. Food full of flavor, true asian herbs and simply delicious. Their portions are generous too.

The Wait Staff are not bad considering how busy the restaurant is at all times. The seating in the restaurant is a bit squashed up. Not a place recommended for a romantic dinner or a special occasion because its always full of people and can get extremely noisy. Perfect place with a bunch of friends or a family outing. Considering the quality of the dishes I think the menu is appropriately priced.

The only issue for me is having to que up which some times can go upto half an hour. But the true food lover that I am, I do not mind waiting I know that I will be served with some superb Thai food.

There are many thai restaurants in Thaitown. But the food served at Chat Thai is definitely is a notch higher. Highly Recommended.

Wow.. Simply Wow. I live just a minute away from Mulligan's but never had the courage to go and try a meal at an Irish restaurant. Last Thursday I went to Mulligan's with my housemates (one of them being Irish. That's how we ended up there. Thanks Miriam). But I have to tell you it was more than a pleasant surprise. I loved each and every bite of it. I could not stop myself from hogging to glory. At the end of the meal we were so full that we had no place for dessert.

Beautiful home cooked hearty food in an awesome down to earth homely restaurant. An evening with special people (my housemates) does not get any better than that.

To top it all they had a Psychic at the restaurant, Annie... I had never been to a psychic before so it was an awesome experience. About 50% of what she said was quite true. But the Psychic dimension to the evening made it even more special. Because we then came and discussed it in the group and had a great laugh at time too.

The menu is simple and easy to understand, they also have specials for every evening. For entree, we had the Boxty Pancakes, Chicken & Mushroom Parcels, Garlic Prawns and the black and white Pudding. Loved every bit of it. I could not fault anything there. Decent portions. Nice and hot. And what was even better was I had never tried any of those previously.

For mains we had The special for the day which was the Lamb Shank (shredded ofcourse) Guinness pie, Bacon and Cabbage and the Irish Stew. Beautiful, simple, tasty and "massive" portions. We enjoyed the meal alot and struggled to finish it.

Now that I know Mulligan's is fantastic. I think I will visit the restaurant quite often. The Wait Staff were also excellent. Always attentive to our needs and made us very comfortable. And yes, they were from Ireland.

All in all Mulligans is a winner. I bet you will love the experience of dining there. Highly Recommended.

The most disgusting pizza I have ever eaten. Was super soggy. Did not have the tomato sauce base I expected to have. The pizza was made to look cheeseless (I seriously could not locate the cheese on the pizza). Very very expensive for what they serve.

They call themselves an authentic Italian Pizza Restaurant. The only thing I can say was authentic Italian was the 'Pizza Box'. Would never recommend this place to any one. If you have $25 to waste go to Millenium Pizza (The worst pizzeria in Sydney).

Try their Chargrilled Salmon, Tuna and Scallops. You will love it. Their mails are good and reasonable too. Ramen - I would not have it again. Way too salty for me and very thick. Not my type of Ramen. Good wait staff and conveniently located.

Love the lamb biryani they make. Very very good. The rest of the dishes are fairly average. Not as good as some of the other Indian restaurants I have been to. They are good on the pocket though. But if you want to taste authentic Biryani go to Lal Quila. The biryani portion is excellent and good value for money.
