Have found the best Indian in Sydney and am now an addict or "regular".
Best Cheese naan bread ever! I could happily live in the stuff. But their curries are also a level above every other Indian restaurant I've been to. The food won't disappoint.

Really impressed by this venue. I don't often make the effort to go to Newtown and because the front is heritage listed it looks misleadingly small from the footpath. You don't expect to find such a great beer garden and thai restaurant out the back. Very relaxed mixed bag crowd on a Friday night which is typical of the area and great. There so many different areas to sit and drink it has a great atmosphere. The Thai restaurant serves to tables in a authentic but modern style garden. You feel like you could be back on holidays in a beachside resort. Highly recommend.

A friend at work booked a Cabana in the new Market Street Garden for surprise birthday drinks on a Friday night and we all had a ball! Having a reserved lounge area was a little bit la-di-da so it was fun and nice surprise. The new garden area is packed from 5pm and the crowd is good. We've been coming in for lunch for ages, but been back to the bar more frequently through November and December. Wednesdays & Thursdays are also good for drinks after work, not overcrowded but still busy with a good vibe so its a really nice place to catch up over a bottle or 3.

We frequent this great little hotel restaurant each week for it's lunch menu that covers all bases and is well priced, so it works brilliantly for our office outings. I favour the risotto, they have a few variations that are always beautiful, as are seafood and vegetarian dishes. There are also pizzas and big pub style burgers and steaks that get a warm reception. Also love that they have quite a few gluten free and Vegetarian dishes on the standard menu so everyone is accommodated. Everything on our table is usually devoured by a very happy group of lunch time diners. Highly Recommend.
