Food was ok, small portions and not terribly interesting. Service was good, very friendly meeter and greeter and our waitress was good too, all spoiled by some odd woman at the end of the meal, our Churros were burned and crispy, when I pointed this out she said thats how they were supposed to be and also said that lots of people make the same complaint as me. I said thats not how they should be and I had never had burnt churros before and she started arguing with me?! I just said fine fine just pls get me the bill and we left. Won't be going back.

Superb! The food, the service, the setting all were flawless. This restaurant, for me, is the ultimate dining experience in Sydney. I couldn't recommend it more.
Can't wait to be back!

We came to Catalina's as part of a present with a flight with Seaplanes, the table we were offered was right by the door and clearly unsuitable as the restaurant was nearly empty. When I asked for a table on the terrace we were moved immediately. The view was amazing!
We had a beautiful meal both, my husband and I were very satisfied the high point being the chocolate and peppermint souffle! Fabulous! Will we back back to Catalins'a?? I think not, our waiter was rude to the point of being obnoxious. Which is a shame as the others we had serving us were quite delightful.
These so called "posh" restaurants in Sydney do amuse me, but only when someone else is paying.

This place is a class act! The chicken and veggie pie with peas and mash is a perfect lunch after taking the visitors on a tour round the city!

I have been here a couple of times now and each time is as bad as each other, the bar staff are surley and uninterested as is their food. Cold fish and chips was last night's offering with a white wine spritzer that and not even half a glass of wine in it. When I asked for the full glass, the bar maid said most people only liked a splash of wine????!!! Then my drink was taken from me before it was even finished! I will not be back .

The view is amazing that is a fact. The food however was very mediocre, just nothing you can't get anywhere else much cheaper! For my party not one of us could really remember what we had had to eat the next day and only 2 bottles of wine were had between 5 of us!
Also what's with the lighting?? I could barely read my menu!

This place was recommended to be and so I was very excited to try as I love Mexican food. The actual restaurant and waiting staff when we arrived were all great. The food, however, was very mediocre, not much flavour and certainly no spice! I wondered why the waitress asked us if we wanted chilli sauce as we ordered!!!
Also the service went down hill also, 2 waitresses were great and the other 2 were hopeless! Really let the other ladies down. I don’t think we will be back and is a shame as we are local ish.

We had a nice lunch here, service was good and the food was what it was, but it ain't haute cuisine! I would recommend especially if you have kids with you.

It was with trepidation I booked a table for dinner last night based on the reviews below. However all unfounded! The service was as good as I have had in a long while from both the waitresses working, they were courteous, friendly and was to be helpful with a particularly difficult bottle of wine that refused to open!
The food was excellent. I had the assiette seafood and the swordfish, both divine and my husband the goats cheese tart and the pork neck. Dessert was amazing, passionfruit tarte, not to be missed! We had a lovely evening and will be back!
