Really doesn't matter if you eat in the restaurant or order takeaway, be aware you will be waiting well over an hour if not more. Really not worth the wait, the food is ok but not worth the hassle. Extraordinarily bad management, I hope another Indian restaurant opens up here as I won't be frequenting this place again.

We went here as a party of 17 for Sat lunch. This place was fantastic! The food was delicious and plentiful, the wine was divine and the service was outstanding. Special mention to Cameron who should give classes in excellent service, he was amazing.
I would recommend this place to anyone and we will certainly be back!

We had a lovely evening here a couple of weeks ago, the place looks amazing inside, very beachy but very elegant at the same time.

The food was of a very high standard, everyone enjoyed! Standouts were the fillet mignon and the choc souffle and also the kids fish and chips! excellent! My duck was on the dry side but my husband insisted his was perfection! The service was excellent, friendly but unobtrusive. Was on the pricey side but was very very good!
We will be back.

Perfect place for lunch in Avalon. Recommendations for the Bang Bang chicken salad and the fish cakes, both superb! Also the kids menu was great my daughter loved the grilled fish.

Jonah's, Whale Beach

The food at Jonah's is spectacular, in particular the foie gras starter and the coral trout main course, one of the best meals I have had in Sydney. The wine list is also very good and quite reasonably priced also.

The service at Jonahs is dreadful. We walked into the restaurant there was no-one to greet us and 2 waiters stood looking at us without coming over. A woman came over after a couple of minutes and we went to the bar. When we were being shown to our table the waiter saw some people he knew and left us standing in the middle of the restaurant whilst he had a nice chat, we all just stood there astounded and then someone else came over and seated us. The standard of food at Jonah's is marred only by its poor wait staff.

We couldn't get in anywhere else on a busy Sunday lunchtime and now I know why. The tapas was OK, not really tapas but edible, the cakes/desserts were dreadful and at $10 a pop not cheap. The service was truly the worst I have ever come across in Sydney, they were lazy, inconsistent and uninterested. We won't be back!

We had a lovely evening here, what a find in an area surrounded by amazing places to eat! The restaurant is beautiful and the service was fine. The menu was amazing, so many wonderful things to choose, it took a while to decide! The venison pie and the duck were the standouts and the wine list is also very good!.
I would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful night here last week, we all four had the degustation with matching wine. The chef was kind enough to accommodate one of our party who was unable to eat fish, no drama at all. The food was amazing, very delicate flavours that all worked very well together. Standouts were the pork belly and the heirloom tomato's.

The little restaurant is very sweet and had a relaxing ambience. The lady who served us was knowledgeable about the dishes and wines and very pleasant as well. I would recommend this place to anyone, was fabulous!

Good but basic cheap eats place. Fresh spring rolls were fab but sizzling duck was a bit bland. Service was efficient and fast, not particularly friendly tho. Place was packed on a weds night so obviously a popular spot!

This place is a real find, we enjoyed a lovely evening here last night. The bar is really good and a great way to start a relaxing night out.

The food was excellent, 4 dishes between 2 of us (actually 5 as we had churros also!) was perfect. Recommendations for the garlic prawns and the witlof salad especially. Service was great only thing might be to have one more person waiting.
We will be back!
