I went to this restaurant for office Christmas party. We pre-ordered a banquet menu - Royal Feast and am very happy with the quality of food. Oh, alley of food! It kept coming. All the different textures and flavours. When I thought I cannot eat any more, a new dish tantalised me and gladly gave in. Dips are freshly made, spiced just right.

My favourite are garlic octopus and shi shi kabab. They are tender and nicely marinated and I liked the fact that the accompanying rice and cous cous are also given a Moroccan touch. It is rare to see the sides are also cooked with care. What I did not like was a flavour of beef tagine as the cinnamon was overpowering but I think it was my personal preference. People enjoyed it and it was cooked perfectly. Soft shell crab was a bit boring. Maybe can do without.

Service can be improved as they were hardly around. The $55 package was worth it? I think it was. I am thinking to try breakfast sometime!

It was Wednesday and yet it was packed and had to wait for 50 min. Even the bar to wait to be seated became full so there was a queue waiting to get in. The decor was a kind of factory conversion meets sleek bar. We ordered crab and squid ink risotto as an entre. The flavor was great but it was a kind of dry side and wasn't hot. I would have wanted more silky and creamy risotto.

For mains, my husband had veal and I had fish soup. Both were impressive in taste , flavour combination and portion. Oh, panna cotta was the best I ever had. Beautiful. Let down was coffee as it was too weak on both of us. Italian restaurant should know how to make a good coffee. My husband and I are big fan of Jamie Oliver's cooking. You don't have to be Jamie fan, however, to enjoy this restaurant. This place is a good modern Italian restaurant.

I used to go to Cabramatta when I feel like authentic Vietnamese but I don't need it any more. I can simply come here for lunch. The price is CBD price but you will get a huge serving out of $10- $15. Soup for Pho is beautiful and chrispy pancake is my favorite, though I wish they serve more herbs like authentic Vietnamese do. Meaning of service here is to take order and serve dish. So don't expect any frills on that department.

I'm not so fussed about service but having to ask for drinks a few times and ending up having to go to counter to get them but no glass. Table was wobbly and was not fixed even though the waiter said he will. Dips weren't homemade but tasted like those of supermarket brand. Falafels were dry and grills were over cooked. I won't go back there.

After being unable to find a parking spot around Gelatomassi (a famous gelato place in Newtown), I came across this place by accident and have never looked back. They make gelatos at the back of the cafe so they are fresh. There are so many flavours to choose from and keeps changing, cream based gelatos are very rich and creamy and sorbets have intese flavor. My favourite is passion fruits sorbet but chocholate lovers won't be dissapointed with variety of choc gelatos. Coffees are good and staff at the counter is friendly. As the temperature rises, I will be coming back for more...

I have been a big fan of this place but I started to doubt that it is worth visiting now after I got disappointed twice. They used to have a very reasonable banquet menu starting from $29 a few years back. Now it starts from $40. Nothing much changed in the lineup since then but price hike was unbelievable. Was it because they moved from Cleveland St. to Glebe?

I love the salad with crispy lebanese bread in it. It came soggy last time I visited. Grilled meat was warmish, rather than hot and was dry. All tasted as if they were left for a long time after being prepared. I will probably look for another place when I feel like Lebanese.

After reading the rave review on this site, we were expecting spectacular night but hugely disappointed. I can taste the quality of each ingredient but it does not justify the fact that the presentation was very plain (not 'understated') and even dull and some of the ingredients on a plate killed each other's flavour. Two other tables next to ours were also complaining about the food. I have tasted much better food in a country pub for half the price. I am not going back there.
