Been there a number of times now. Lunch is esp. value for money, and hopefully the first of many new competitive lunch venues in civic.

Terrible! I'm an inner west local and been to the Badde a couple of times, and had a variety of friends work there. The breakfast is shambles. I ordered poached eggs along with four others on my table. They came out and were between soft and hard boiled. I complained and they returned with eggs that were barely cooked, the whites still gelatinous and runny.

It was almost like a joke. It was the final straw. My friends who worked there had a fair share of horror stories about the food preparation but most of all about the bad treatment. The place is run on tourists, to work for ridiculously low wages and pay for ridiculously unmerited prices. Banditry! Stay away!

Come every so often for lunch and order the same thing. Happy with the meal (Italian pizza and garlic bread). Its not the best pizza but its pretty good for Civic. Service is always solid but thats not hard cause its usually empty at lunch.

Been here many times now. Always great, especially the laksa (maybe even the best in town). Portions are generous and the staff are quite helpful. Book if attending on weekends.
