Ok, so after reading all the bad reviews yesterday, I was quite skeptical on trying this place out, but went ahead with our dinner booking anyway. It was our first time eating here even though we're locals.

Anyway, the place itself looks nice inside and the menu has a lot to choose from. I ordered a chicken wrap ($18.90) which came with chips and I paid extra for a garden salad. When the food got to the table, I was honestly shocked at how tiny the wrap was. Wow. So Not worth that amount of money. You can go to McDonald's and get more value for money and pay half (or less) the price. I really wish I could have told some1 there what a rip off it was, but who do you speak to?

My hubby's burger was so burnt on one side (no kidding!). I told him to take it back but he didn't cos he was so hungry. My Mum's parma was the only decent meal on the table. We ordered an apple pie for dessert which is supposed to have icecream with it but when it came out.. no icecream! When my hubby asked for some, the waitress said they're out of vanilla so he asked for another flavour (as they scoop it out of a freezer behind a window that's on show and there's about 6 different flavours there).

Such bad service. She should have apologised while putting it on the table and asked if he would like an alternative flavour. They really need to train their staff better! My Mum was leaning over my baby's pram while sitting down and a waitress came from behind her to take her finished plate without warning her and brushed the plate against her top, knocking the fork off and staining her top. Those things happen, but at least warn someone you're there.

Would we go again? Not in the near future! It's such a shame as the place has such potential. If they put the prices down, or at least have decent servings to match the price, train their staff a little better and maybe change the kitchen staffs or train them better, the place would be a lot more popular. I really hope they read these reviews!

We had dinner here a few nights ago for the first time as we're from the other side of Melbourne. The waitress was pleasant enough and there was a lot to choose from on the menu. Downside - I ordered a chicken, avocado and mango salad and there was about 4 pieces of thinly sliced chicken, 3 small pieces of avocado and about 4 small slices of mango on it! It was lovely but Definitely Not worth the $22 I paid! Hubby and stepson chose the lasagne (which came with chips and salad) off the specials menu and for $16.95, they got a very decent serving. Too bad I can't say the same about my salad.

The cafe itself has a pretty chilled atmosphere, there are plenty of yummy cakes in the window and an excellent choice of gelati but in my opinion it is a touch over priced for a cafe in Berwick.

I love this place! And being half Hungarian myself, I find the food to be quite authentic. Everything I have had is lovely, the chicken soup is SO good and you'll love the cucumber salad.. very refreshing to have with a rich and hearty meal.

We went here on a Thursday night and couldn't complain about anything. Food was lovely and was not over-priced like some restaurants you would find at the Crown.
The buffet is generous and fresh and I loved the chocolate fountain they had running in the dessert section. Would highly recommend!

The food here is lovely, no doubt about that, but wow the staff were rude. My friend and I came in probably about 1 hr before closing and they couldn't have made it any more obvious that they were annoyed with us. I felt so under pressure to order, we were pretty stressed and that is not the feeling you want when you go out to eat! If it was such a problem us coming in late then they should have refused us from the start!
After our meals one of the workers (I think it was one of the owners or boss) gave us his card and said we can come back for a free meal next time we're in Sydney. I think he may have felt a little bad that the waiter treated us the way he did.

We were here last Thursday and had the all you can eat deal which cost us $19.90 per adult and $10 for the 10 year old we were with (children up to 12 or 13 pay by age so if the child is 8, then it is $8 and so on, toddlers are no charge). The food was lovely, I had a try of about 3 or 4 dishes and enjoyed them all (Burritos were the best!).
The servings are smaller then normal with the all you can eat deal (and it is not the full menu) but that way it gives you a chance to try them all. One thing that was a little annoying was the fact that the waitress forgot to put our orders through at one stage . At least she was honest I suppose. But in that time we could have ordered 1 more dish (you can only order 1 at a time and have to pretty much finish your plate).

I have been to Chiang Mai twice now and this is one of my favourite restaurants on the Gold Coast. The decor is stunning (feels like I'm in Thailand), they are efficient and friendly (love the traditional Thai costumes they wear) and the food is lovely. Only thing is, I wish they had roti bread on the menu like most Thai restaurants do! Then it would be practically perfect! Coconut rice is delish and love the Pad Thai. Overall, had a great experience both times!

Overall, the food was delicious, that is for sure, but on the small side for the price you pay. I still can't believe those of us who had pizza paid $26 for a large size and it wasn't even a speciality pizza! Just a few olives, anchovies and cheese (Napolitana size)! That is crazy and they are a bit shifty only putting the 'smaller size' price on the menu, even though we asked them if this is the large size price (you would think $17 is the price for a large size anyway!). This is what made is a bad experience for us. The place is inside is lovely enough, man who served us was friendly and as I mentioned lovely food and they use good quality ingredients but for the price you pay here, you can get 2 of everything elsewhere. I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw the bill! That really wrecked it for us.
