Went there twice. The first time was much better, we had siao long baos, fried buns, raddish cakes all very good and fresh. The second visit was not as great, the siao long baos were dried, quite disappointed, I think cos they premade them and the skin was dried out. Had Dan Dan noodles which didn't have enough sesame sauce or spices. Other dishes were still enjoyable, sweet and sour soup, tofu with century egg. Will return to try other dishes.

Went mid week, was not packed which is nice. Had the northern thai crispy noodle curry, a little on the sweet side. Had the night's special wok tossed beef it was tasty but I think the beef was not as fresh as it could be left an unpleasant beefy aftertaste but the spices and sauce used was good. Would like to visit again for more dishes. Management: the dessert is over-priced!

Yes this place is owned by a french woman and that's pretty much the only french related thing to the restaurant. Had the steak frites, the steak is not even cooked the french way, it tasted like how a rsl club would cook it, very disappointed. The creme brulee was good though. I would not come back to this place, if a french restaurant can't get a steak right, what else could be good from the menu... Nothing! Will not return.

This is my second time at Jamie's and never again, sorry I love you Jamie Oliver, but not this place. The waitress who took us to the table has attitude! When we wanted to sit at the table next to the one shown to us, she talked back and said 'what's wrong with this table' how rude! That is just the start.

The bread was stale and dried, last time it was good but today it's so dry that it tasted like 2 day old stale bread. The mushroom entree and fried calamari were a rip-off, do not order it. The mushrooms is just sliced mushrooms, placed on a piece of lebanese bread, topped off with cheese and shuffed in the oven. Anyone can do that. The calamari the portion is tiny, it's a quarter of a tapas.

The mains were terrible, the wagyu special is no wagyu, it's chewy and cannot be swallowed, it's better for a dog than human consumption. The mussels pasta was aweful, the mussels were not fresh (complete disappointment as the first time there this dish was good) and the pasta is way undercooked. The truffle risotto is also another ripped-off, there is no truffle, why call it truffle risotto, just call it plain risotto!

Again the dessert was only ok, not bad, not good, just very average, the pannacotta is the worst I've ever had, too jelly like and not smooth and silky like how it should be.

I don't understand the queue and I'm disappointed as my first time there was good but this time not. Do not go there! Avoid! Also there is a surcharge for american express and they should inform their customer first beforehand, this is just common courtesy!

I used to love this place, a regular patron as their dishes are all very flavoursome. There is a new menu for the new year so we decided to go again. However, last night it was disappointing to the extent I wanted to say it was quite a disapointing experience I'm not sure whether I'll be back. There were 4 of us, so we decided to share all the dishes, all the dishes were cold, not even lukewarm but cold, the steak is still 'fridge' temperature inside.

The entrees sizes were tiny it is not worth the money. We had the squid only a few tiny pieces, it was very tough and ordinary. The duck liver parfait came with 3 tiny slivers of peaches and a few crackers - Restaurant: you shouldn't be stingy on the crackers, it's only crackers! Same with the pork belly and watermelon, it's like finger food size common!

Basically the entrees are finger sizes and the mains are entree sizes. The mains don't come with any sides which also annoys me. The mojito is just full of ice. The caramel parfait (new on the menu) is disgusting I took one bite and left it. Just one good thing the waiters and waitresses have always been good. Management I'm so upset as I used to love this place.

The three of us dined here after waiting for a few months for the next available night which was a Tuesday. We had the degustation menu, there was nothing special which was quite a disappointment. The snow egg was a let down.

The service was terrible and they have got so many things wrong, after emailing to the restaurant their response was, we will pass the feedback. What the? We will never take our colleagues, clients, friends there ever again. How can restaurants let their customers leave unhappy?

The shanghainese soup dumplings were so-so, very average I would not order that again. The panfried buns were very good served boiling hot, one of the best in sydney, as well as the fried radish cake which can't be found anywhere else. The noodles were nice and chewy but a bit overpriced.

Some dishes are good, like the fried eggplant, steam beefballs. But the scallop taro dumpling is way over priced, $9.5 for 3 small ones, I can get a big plate of noodles or something elsewhere, the price is not justified. It is way too expensive which is a shame, I wouldn't go back unless I'm forced by colleagues.

2 words. Stay Away! The food is aweful. I had lamb shank, it says on the menu 'Lamb Shanks', in plurals but only came with one. That is misleading advertising and who serves only one shank? The mash tasted like the ones from a packet where you just add water to mix, the sauce is definitely gravy from a packet.

My colleague had fish and chips he said the texture tasted funny, my other colleague had chicken schnitzel it didn't look appertising, someone else had the pie, the pastry looked good but she said the meat was dry, I could see that too! Avoid! How can such business exist.

The atmosphere of this place is amazing. Set in a beautiful house, very exclusive. The waiter was amazing, and has good details - placing of wine glasses, placing the cutlery and topping up water and wine - he was very professional and he is french! The food was good, the oysters were amazingly fresh and smooth & creamy, the steak was a bit over cooked, the duck was perfect but the portion was a bit small. The dessert was disappointing though the creme brulee was a bit too eggy and lumpy and not really set properly that was the only let down. Would come back again.
