I seriously don't know why this place doesn't have a better rating. We have been there with various family members and friends many times over the past year. The service is always great, the chefs look hard at work and there is an Awesome kids play area with computer games and even some legs dangling out of the roof. Love it.

We decided to go here for our 2nd wedding anniversary with our 3 year old and 6 week old. Wow what can I say, the service from the girls was Outstanding the staff gave our 3 year old a container of crayons and let her draw all over the paper table cloth. Helped us get some hot water to put the bottle in. Food was something to shout about, just a little pricey. Best experience I have ever had. Will be back without hesitation.

Very quiet inside, but the take away is always busy, never had a bad meal, but the service normally takes 45 minutes on average, so I would suggest to call first.

I agree with finnsharon, we were first seated near the back of the place and we had to move due the excessive noise coming from the kitchen. My partner is doing weight watchers, so we asked if we could have a tomato based sauce with the prawns instead of the cream and we were told that this could not be changed. What a pathetic effort. Anyway, the smokers outside ruined the experience as the smoke drifted back inside. Extremely poor service and as the other reviewer has said the worst dining experience ever. Over priced disappointing food.

Replying the manages notes: smoking is allowed outside and when the door opens the smoke comes in. The noise from the kitchen is from the loud speaking that blast pathetic music. Regarding the smoking, don't lie, smoking happens on your outside tables. I have been to hundreds of different eateries around the country.

Dear Redfox 69,

You forgot to mention we do a chilli prawns with a tomato based sauce,however the garlic prawns are done with a cream sauce. We do not believe they taste very good done with a tomato based sauce and we do not like to serve poor food. Some people don't understand you cook things a certain way for good reasons and some people still take pride in what they do.

Our whole restaurant inside and out is totally nonsmoking, so your remarks are unfounded. The place can be very noisy, it isn't Florentinos and we don't pretend to be or charge like them. Unfortunately uneducated diners, just want places they can treat people like slaves and spend as little money as possible. I do not want to bag the other establishments you have so lavishly praised, however they are no culinary greats.

We always have problems with people (mainly locals) who take you for granted or who expect you to be a community service. It is a lot easier to serve people who have travelled overseas or come from overseas and people who go to better restaurants as they see the establishment for what it is, not what they would like it to be.
