Adam makes the best pizza in the local area, we go here all time. They use good quality ingredients, a good crust, wonderful fresh salads, which makes it a great experience. They are also family friendly and our kids love it here too.

The ambience and service was great. The beer was very enjoyable, but the food was very average. Not sure if it was because of Mardi Gras but it was very disappointing, especially when it cost nearly $100 a head.
The food presentation looked good but: Beef two ways, the sirloin was cooked on a dirty grill so it had a burnt taste. The brisket was very dry and needed a sauce, the potato stack was overcooked, cold, burnt and tasteless. I had trouble cutting it with my steak knife.
The Mussels were tough and overcooked. The mashed potato was over whipped. I had been looking forward to going to Red Oak. The manager told us that they had just changed menus, but they should really be making sure the food is better quality than this.

The staff were excellent, it's hard these days to get good service, and the head waitress was great. The food could do with some work to be more authentic, especially the sauces and the high levels of sugar. It's a welcome change for us city dwellers from the pub grub we normally have on holidays.
Overall we enjoyed our night out, the location is great and it was lovely to sit on the boardwalk sipping some cool wine and watch the world go by.

We eat here nearly every week - it has great value food, good service and is very cheap. My tip is to stick to the Vietnamese menu - rice hotpot, meat hotpot, rice paper rolls, pho - all amazing. It is also a good place for kids, and they are usually busy but have a quick turnover and an upstairs room. One of the best in the inner west if you ask me.
