We skipped the entrees and had mains, including Risotto with asparagus and artichoke (Pictured below - lovely I was told), Fettuccine with mushrooms and quail (Pictured below - I had this and agreed with a friend it was lovely. It was obvious that pasta is made fresh daily), Roast duck breast (Pictured below, They err on the side of rare so I wouldn’t order this here).

Desserts aren’t their forte in my opinion. The tiramisu was great (pictured below), the gelato was just wonderful but the banana soufflé was absolutely terrible (pictured below). It seemed like extra liquid set in as in the middle it was not cooked through and like batter. Because all 7 of us we so fascinated but how it would rise at the top but collapse in the middle we all tasted it, click through to my blog to read the rest of the view and see the restaurant and food pictures

Bistro Lilly is in a great location has beautiful decor and mostly great food. I just wonder how long this restaurant will last with its current attitude that fellow eatability reviewers have also noticed. I had trout with sundried tomatoes that were inedible. Tried to politely explain the taste to the waiter but he just snapped “that’s how they’re supposed to be” (click through to my blog for the rest and a pic)

My photos speak for themselves! There were hand made fresh prawn/crab spring rolls, salt and pepper calamari, salmon bruschetta, oysters two ways, tempura battered fish, muscles and prawns in a Thai style broth, bugs in a burnt butter sauce, hand cut fries.

I Love the New York style feel to Pendolino, only issue we had with surroundings was that it was like a sweat box, bikram dining!

It’s rare for me to eat the bread on arrival but there’s no way to resist sampling the bread selection at Pendolino, especially as you're given a sample selection of their olive oils to accompany.

For my entree I had the Spaghetti Chitarra Con Pesce D’acquadolce....

Why anyone would go past the banquet, I do not know. The team were extremely flexible to tweaking the banquet for one full vegetarian and one chicken only meat eater. (click through to blog for more info and images)

5 of us went for dinner starting in the wine bar at 6 and migrating into the restaurant at 7. We all decided to do main and dessert (and needless to say, wine). I had the duck pappardelle (pictured) which was to die for.

What a great find. The food is divine and the whole package does make you feel like you just might be in Spain. Read more and see pics of what we ate by clicking through to my blog.

Heaven. This is heaven. The vibe reminded me of Fratelli Fresh – it’s all about loving fresh food and loving life. Really can’t faulty anything as the service was great. The food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully. One word of advice I have...

I went to Epoque with a friend and we had mussels/fries/aioli, 2 beers/ciders each and shared a waffle for dessert. The mussels were lovely and there are a number of variations to choose from. I had my mussels in vegetable broth and my friend had hers in blue-cheese and both were great. The fries were crunchy Belgium delights and the aioli was nice and dense. The waffles were fresh and the chocolate sauce was ok but a darker chocolate than what I would have preferred.

Because we were sitting in the elevated area we didn’t get a lot of attention from the first waitress. When she wandered up she didn’t check on us so we waited a long time to order the second beer. When the second waitress was allocated to our area she was terrific, knew the food and beer menu inside out, and resolved requests with speed and a smile (young English girl with auburn hair, try and sit in her section). For 2 the bill came to $75 (because it was Wednesday).

This has sky rocketed to being my favorite Indian restaurant in Crows Nest. First came across it off a spreets voucher and we were treated and fed so well so naturally we've spread the word and gone back for more. We had the really traditional dishes like tandoori and butter chicken and they were perfect. Can't wait to go back again and again. Had naan, rice, entree platter, 4 mains and bill was $140 for 4.
