We were given a voucher for Stranded at Christmas and we "booked in" last Sunday afternoon. No need to book as when we got there just before 2.00 pm, there were no other customers, whilst every other restaurant on the beach was packed to the rafters?

After ordering 2 pastas and salads, which took 40 mins to arrive (?) you could tell why no one was there - the pastas were tasteless, with my smoked salmon fettucini having very little visible smoked salmon. The pasta was certainly al dente, however as there was so little sauce, it was like eating dry 2 minute noodles.

The salads were no better, with the Tri Color being only 6 slices of tomato with bocconcini slices on top and a few basil leaves. My roasted beetroot salad ($14 on menu) was a little better, however the beetroot was out of a tin.

The "free" bottle of wine - nothing more to say that it was a $2.50 bottle of Bowlers Run from Dan Murphys. Never again!
