Outrageous! I booked for a group of 11 for a birthday. The restaurant called to confirm the booking. I informed them that we would be bringing a birthday cake and I was told that the cake surcharge would be $71.50. Unbelievable considering we would have spent well in excess of $1000 for the lunch. I cancelled the booking and rebooked somewhere else that welcomed our money. We didn't have to pay a cent to bring the cake as the owner was delighted to have 11 customers with expensive tastes. The owner of banjo patersons really should take course in what is good customer service as he has no idea.
