Best tandoori chicken I have ever had and love the curries, I can't remember the name of my favourite but it's in the beef curry section and is the Pakistani hot one. Its not the place you would bring a first date so the decor and service don't bother me but both are adequate nonetheless. I love the fact that on one side of you will probably be a cab driver and on the other side will be a group of Aussies who all just come here for the great food.

The whole dining experience started off reasonably well until a waitress dropped a jug of water, meant for the table next to us, on the lap of my lovely 8 month and 3 weeks pregnant wife. Accidents happen but they didn't even make much of an apology or try to do anything about it. Eventually when the waitress noticed the look in my wife's eye that could have been interpreted as "I'm pregnant and hormonal and if you don't fix this now you will die" so she offered her a few serviettes and eventually someone came with a tea towel.

So the food ... I had the teriyaki beef bento box that comes with some gyoza. The beef were strips of the driest rubbery tasteless beef you could imagine and the gyoza weren't great either. My wife had a ramen that you wouldn't write home about either. We had eaten a few times here before and it wasn't bad but after this experience we won't be back.

Undeniably the best Thai meal I have ever had. Yes I know that is a big call but it's honestly what my lovely wifey and I both said to each other after dinner.

Friends of mine have been talking this place up for a while and we didn’t take them up on the offer of eating there as we love the Vietnamese restaurant right next door (Hanoi Quan) so if we were in the area we would always go to Hanoi. Last night some friends really wanted Thai so we went to Let's Eat. It’s quite a small place so may be worth booking on a weekend but we got lucky.

We ordered 4 dishes, first was chicken choo chee curry which was a fantastic crispy chicken curry, second was the pork belly with chilli jam that was definitely the crowd pleaser. We also had a veggie pad see ew that was great and a prawn and lemongrass chilli salad that was amazing. The bill was about $70 for 4 which we thought was great value. Think we will be there again next weekend for sure.

Discovered this little gem whilst having a Saturday mooch through the area and fell in love with the place. Once I find something I like I keep ordering the same thing and that is their handmade noodles which are like a hokkien noodle and their pan fried pork dumplings. The dumplings are addictive and the noodles are the best I have tasted. I don't mind the staff's aloof attitude and learned quickly just to grab their attention to get your order in otherwise you will wait. Prices are great and make the drive well worth it.

We found Gigi's on Eatability and thought we would give her a go and loved it. We arrived just before 9pm on a Tuesday night and it was about half full. It was a fresh spring night and we sat next to the woodfire oven and it made us feel warm and cosy. We ordered calamari and some salads for an entree and 3 pizzas to share for mains. The pizzas were all fantastic and everyone at the table loved their meal. The waitress was friendly, efficient and made us feel at home. Will definitely be back.

Sorry faithful Rose Garden customers I don't share your enthusiasm. Had dinner there with the lovely wife last night and didn’t rate it too highly at all. It was like stepping into a time warp with the wooden panels on the walls and daggy old stained carpet and tacky old furniture. The hostess was lovely and pleasant, we started with the san choi bow which was pretty good and generous. Then we shared sweet and sour pork with fried rice, I can’t explain it any better than the pork looked like stale KFC and was dry and pale in colour.

We stirred in all the sauce at the bottom of the plate but the pork pieces were still dry and not very appealing. We asked for it in take away containers and then watched it get given accidently to a take away customer who very nicely returned it. A day later I just reheated it and it was palatable maybe due to having a dog of a day at work and being half tanked. Sorry Rose Garden I can't see myself ever returning.

OMG I am in love with this place! I have been searching for a good laksa for ages and have been dissapointed many times in my search. I spotted this place a few weeks ago and thought I would give it a try. The laksa's are so rich and creamy and by far the best I have tasted. I went with a group the first time and 2 of us had laksas and someone had a beef curry which was also very good. I went back today and it was just as good as last time, we had a laksa and a char kway teow and both were fantastic. Its a little place just opened and run by a lovely husband and wife. Prices are good, most mains under $10. As its new its only open during the day till 6 and I think until 8 on Saturdays.

Had lunch here with my wife on a rainy grand final Sunday. It was pretty quiet so was served pretty quickly and didn't have to wait too long for food. Instead of ordering a combo I ordered a steak and my wife a rack of pork ribs and we shared. The pork ribs as always were amazing! They are perfectly cooked and fall off the bone, the marinade they come with is great but I love the monkeygland sauce as an extra.

The steak was great too but I think when eating at the same time as the ribs the flavour of the ribs overpowers your tastebuds and you can't appreciate the steak properly. I've been coming here since the mid to late 90's and love it!

Try the baguettes they have at lunchtime, I really recommend the veal. Great value for $10. Heard the pizzas are awesome but haven't tried one yet.
