My wife and I went there on Saturday night, before a show at the State Theatre' and all I can say it was wonderful. We have been infrequent diners there for about 30 years and still their quality and service was great. We are of Greek background and was great to have authentic Greek food and value, as we have had for over 30 years. The 'ambience' is dated, so-what, we enjoyed a nice meal with a pleasant waiter. Hope to return sooner than later in the near future.

In reference to MICH333's comment regarding the previous posting by 'honestp'. Eatability is a fantastic avenue whereby people are able to post their personal experiences about the establishements they have attended. MICH333 appears to be a representative of this establishment, why else would he/she refute someone's personal experience.

I recently attended an event at this establishment and all I can say is - be warned. Make sure you (the organiser) get everything in writing from the management, otherwise your guests will walk away hungry and you will be severely embarrassed. I know our hosts were extremely embarrassed.

I was disgusted with the measly portions that were being served and even more so when I found out the exorbitant prices that they dared to charge in return. Greek restaurants are usually renowned for their abundance of food and inclusions - this restaurant obviously does not subscribe to this mantra. Be warned.

Danny's Seafood, La Perouse

My family had lunch here on Sunday with the new 'Scoupon Deals' for 2 seafood platters. The fresh prawns and oysters were excellent but the deep fried other seafood on the platters were well and truly heavy on the stomach. But overall I would return here as the value (with the coupons) is quite good.

What a wonderful quaint little excellent Thai restaurant. The food is fresh, authentic and excellent value. My wife and I travel from the south to come to this establishment. Very casual, but worth it.

Fish At The Rocks, Sydney

Went with my wife on Friday night. The fish meals are quite nice but don't expect too much value for the dollar you pay. I had to fill up with a $8 (small) plate of chips. It is quite annoying that a sprinkle of rocket and/or baby spinach has replaced the usual vegetables/salad. These are now considered to be 'side orders'. Basically getting fed-up (not here) with these establishments that consider the 'tasting experience' should replace the value in meal.

My wife and I recently had a Sunday lunch here and I would like to say... for a total bill of $185 we walked away hungry. The food was well prepared, the service was good but as to the value in what is served is quite pityful. If you order the 'salt & pepper squid' entree for $22 (about this much) one would expect a few more than 5 thumb size pieces. As to the my wife's 'King Prawns' for her entree they must have been sorted through a magnifying lense. Yes the view to the beach is quite stunning and it appears that the owners believe that we should pay a premium for the view as well, from the run down surf club. Eat on the beach, the view is just as good from the local fish shop and they will not charge you a premium for shopping there... for $185 we could have had a feast.

I visit this restaurant quite frequently and my wife and I find that the meals are quite authentic and the value for money is good. We regard this place to be our 'local' and have recommended it to a number of our friends.
