Service and ambience: was much more than I expected after looking at the menu which was very reasonably priced, proper polished wine glasses and bright white cloth napkins, also really clean setting (does look more like a country cottage than a thai place). They bring out water without asking, and they serve you rice in just the right intervals. Staff were polite and friendly, were attentive to our requests (we had a baby, so high chair, small bowls and spoons were required).

Price: mains around $15-18 dollars, entrees around $8-10.

Food: it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best we've tasted. The vege tempura was oily, the honey soy duck was a bit plain, and the stuffed chicken wings could've done with some more seasoning or a different dipping sauce. I didn't get a chilli hit out of any of the dishes!

Overall: I would come back because we had a pleasant evening, service was fabulous, wine was great, food was not bad, and it was cheap.

Ok for a quick cheap meal, but steamed dumplings too soggy, and fried ones are too oily. Handmade noodles are less than ordinary. Service is slow and unattentive.

Better service than somewhere else, better prices and nicer dumplings. Sho mai taste awesome because they're made on the spot. Restaurant is pram and child friendly. Staff are fast and attentive.

Crispy pork with chilli was great. Dumplings were just average. Service is slow and unfriendly (borderline rude). Pretty cheap, but more expensive than other dumplings places in the area. Not pram or child friendly. Very small restaurant with big chairs. Capacity is limited.

I was excited to find out what the hype was about. Left the restaurant feeling a bit "bleh" about th whole thing, so I was disappointed and still not sure why there are always lines outside.

The wait for a table can be up to an hour after 7pm. Might just go back for takeaway next time.

Best coffees in the Sydney cbd! They have their house blend but also make available, a variety of different blends that they change every few days (Inc dark horse, Asian, African and south American blends).

You can also get naked coffee (where they use a naked handle to make your espresso).

I go this place quite frequently. 2 japanese restaurants next to each other on york st... used to go to the one next door only (Condor) but for the last two years, have frequented Goshu Ramen Tei as they have a better menu!

Staff are really friendly. Food is great (I'm sure it's not 5 star, but is tasty and fresh). I like their bento boxes ($16-25), waygu set ($16), udon with chicken cutlet($12).

Gets a bit cold in winter as most of the seating is outside. They provide blankets and heaters tho which I think is a cute touch. I'll never get sick of this place.

Oh this place has plenty of potential, the wait staff are wonderful, the selections is vast and interesting, and the place is new and clean. Would suit bigger group bookings.

Unfortunately, I dined with my husband, we had soup, garlic bread, pasta in pink sauce and a sausage pizza and everything was Too salty. We ended up only being to eat a slice and a mouthful each before our lips were involuntary pursed. The dessert was yummy and the portions are generous!

Hoping that the chef just had a cold and couldn't taste anything that night. Will try again in a couple of months as the flavours were yum, just overpowered by salt.

Good value food, tastes authentic. I love the soba salad and tataki. Meticulous service and presentation of dishes. We're regulars here! Cheap lunches and awesome for group dinners.

Simple setting, but always fast service and decent food for a great price. The crab is second to none (than I know of), and their duck is de-boned!

Food is lush! Cocktails are super! Just hate waiting such a long time for a table (harder with bigger groups). Luckily the bar area is quite hip and comfortable. A little expensive though.
