In all honesty, probably the best and most reliable Chinese food available in Canberra. Although the place does not have a first class look to it, the food is magnificent to say the least. The barbeque meats (Duck, Soya Chicken and Pork) are the everday favourites, although the Soft Shell crab is probably one of the best I have had anywhere along the AUS eastern coast and to top it all off the prices are amazingly cheap. I have never had to wait for a table and they are open till late (~11 pm) during weeknights. If you're after chinese food, strongly recommend trying Kenny's, you won't look back!

Noble Palace Chinese Seafood Restaurant, Phillip

Easily the best Yum Cha in Canberra and not far behind in the standard menu either. It is a little pricey, although the seafood flair to their food is an easy explanation. Does get very busy though on weekends, try to arrive by 1130 to secure the freshest and widest range of food. Beware that parking is a 5 minutes walk from the restaurant.

Banana Leaf Restaurant & Cafe, Canberra

As a first try for me at Sri Lankan food, this place was delicious. Layout was tidy and the noise level perfect. Good idea to reserve for dinner though. Nice simple menu with a whole bunch of local ingredients thrown in. Service was exceptional, with wonderful waiter staff who never left us waiting more than a few seconds. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Try the Limprisht, mmmm
