We went to this restaurant for a nice girls Sunday catch up lunch, and celebrating some birthdays. When we arrived and told them our booking name, they acted like we had made it very difficult to pick a table for us from the 20 or so they had empty. I think there were only 3 other tables being used in the entire restaurant, and they tried to squash us in the corner next to a family table.

Given there were so many vacancies, we asked for another. Staff were ok at the start, but we were disappointed that their restaurant was only BYO on Tuesdays. Anyway, the food was good, a bit pricey for a glorified pizza place. Initially, we were told by our first waiter that the place closed at 4 pm and would reopen at 5 pm, as they had to "reset", given there were only about 5 tables used the whole time we were there.

Close to 4 pm the new waiter said that they did not close, and we could stay. Around 5.15 pm a female staff member asked us to move next door, to their bar, as we were apparently sitting at the only group of tables in the entire restaurant that could be formed for a group of 9. Again, there were possible only 2 other tables being used in the restaurant at this time.

We did not want to go to the bar, so she moved us to a table in the back corner, still not many customers. (Most of the time the kitchen staff and waiters just stood around). Given we spent over $100 each for pizza, dessert and expensive wine, we were not impressed with the service or value.

I went here for a nice pub meal with friends and kids. I wasn't keen, as food had been so bad here in the past. I was nicely surprised that my parma was good, but the rest of the table were disappointed in theirs, I took the average rating on their mains. If the food was better we would go there every 2-3 weeks. Kids play area is great except getting a bit outdated.

I hope this is the corect one, its part of a winery and has cellar door sales. I would call it a restaurant more than a cafe. It had the best food I have had out in a long time. It was a group booking of over 100 people and the food standard was exceptional! Every single person at our table looked like they had nearly licked their plates clean! Great lunchtime atmosphere, great food, great wine. I am looking forward to returning.

We went for a special occasion. It was the second time we have been there. The restaurant, staff, atmosphere were great. My husband did like his $110 steak, but it was not the best he has ever had. I chose corned beef, and frankly it was no better than the local pub. Although sitting in liquid, it was dry and bland. If I am paying hundreds of dollars for a meal, I think every part of the experience should be exceptional.

Great atmosphere whether there are 2 of you or 20! Food was delicious and plentiful! Waiters great and value for money fantastic. Byo makes it even more affordable!
