Dined here last night and found the service attentive, warm and genuine, unfortunately, the overall food was just average. The offerings on the menu were very standard and nothing really stood out as a must try. So if you want a decent meal, nice ambience come here but don't expect to be blown away.

Overall great restaurant, fantastic view etc but it is on the expensive side so keep it just for special occasions. We thought both the service and food was very good.

This is one of my favourite restaurants to go to. I am never disappointed in the food at all, as it is just delicious! The service can be on the slow side but I have to agree with the other reviewer in saying that when we dine here, we are never in a rush so its perfect. If you want to make a night of it book a later time (8pm) as if you get the early booking you are rushed out the door.

I love the fact that it's BYO with no corkage and I also like that the menu changes daily as this keeps it fresh and interesting. I have to admitt I make any excuse to eat here again and again.

Highly recommended and i also highly recommend booking in advance!

The food here is spectacular. Every part of our entree and main was delicous. I have been to quite a few really nice restaurants and I have to say that this experience was the best I have ever had. My meal (twice cooked duck) was incredible and my prawn entree was amazing.

My boyfriend was equally impressed by the flavour of each dish. The service was warm and friendly, and the timing was perfect. Definitely will be returning next time we come back to the mountains. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I as many others came here on our weekend away and expected to have a nice night out. The piano playing created a wonderful ambience, however due to extreme fog we couldn't see any view (not that this is their fault at all), the service was outstanding however, the food was revolting.

My boyfriend ordered the special which was a fish dish and it came out black and charred, I ordered the pasta and it was a huge serving that was covered in thick cream sauce - the kind I would expect to be served in a pub. Needless to say when the waiter asked how our meal was, my boyfriend showed him the fish and the waiter agreed that it looked terrible.

I did not mention anything about mine as it was embarrassed for the waiter (having worked in a restaurant for years I understand), however we were not compensated at all and we ended up having to pay for both meals at full price.

I would have expected a glass of wine or something to make up for the expensive meal that was un-eatable. Will never go back and strongly recommend others not to bother. Thankfully the next night we ate at a wonderful restaurant in Blackheath which was incredible in everyway, so the weekend was not a total loss.
