Finally a restaurant got it right! As a coeliac the look of this place was almost a 'no no' but the chicken cacciatore with a bottle of cinotto has now become my weekly regular. Oh, and Warning: The 'large' ceasar salad, could have solved the famine crisis in Ethiopia.

It annoys me how eating out has now become about being treated like royalty and less about amazing food. Disappointed!
Staff are not that excellent, and I have had some run ins with them too but who cares? the Euroburger, Eurochips, Lamb shanks, Hellenic chicken salad, creme brulee, Eurofrappes have me addicted so much that I encourage anyone who isn't a princess at the dinner table and enjoys amazing food, to treat themselves!

Despite the whining reviews given by most, this place has a great selection of food, good wait staff [given the seating capacity] and milieu.
There is Extensive menu and then there is Criniti's. Huge amount of options to chose from and even so many vegetarian and Gluten free options [a refreshing change for a coeliac.]
Prices are hefty, but given the overhead they are paying for location surely no Sydney-sider would actually be legitimately shocked. Place is Buzzing, great for a social event, Highly recommended.

Very curious how this place could only have a rating of 7.6?
By far one of, if not the best thai restaurants in Sydney. My/our order mainly is chicken cashew, Pad Thai, Massaman Curry, Satay Chicken. So that is all I can comment on. To give you a brief example of how good their chicken cashew is, on my recent visit to Thailand, after having thai friends show us the 'best' thai restaurants in Bangkok and Phuket, I was so unsatisfied, and still had an immense craving for the thai pathong version. It is that damn good!
I am very picky about ingredients, and a Thai chef once educated me, if chicken Cashew has carrots in it, the restaurant is cutting costs. Its been my rule of thumb, only 2 in Newtown don't use it [T.P is one of them].
The service is beyond amazing. Yet to see it matched by any restaurant in Sydney [even though I am a firm believer that service should not be the reason you visit a restaurant]. Very loud on weekends though.
Interested to see some perspectives on affordability on this blog. Seem to be seeing a lot of posts saying 'huge portions that were overpriced' what's odd is that this paradox just goes to show you how excellent the food quantity and quality truly is.
If you have a clue about food-service-value, then this place is Highly recommended! [so is the Pathong orchid cocktail].

I really hate reading the whining comments on this site. But particularly for sushi suma. This place has become my regular for sushi in the last 6 months as referred to me by my Japanese friends. [and rightly so]
My main order is the agedashi Tofu, California rolls, Tempura Prawn rolls, miso soup and Sushi deluxe set, so food wise that is all I can comment about. What a delight it is eating this food. Beyond comprehension! As a Gluten intolerant I suffer a whole day with the cramps of the mayonnaise in those rolls because it is so damn addictive.
Yes seating proximity is close, but I don't think the place is set up for confessional conversations or dates, just enjoyment of good food.
...And Yes head staff can be a bit pushy, and some waiters can be dismissive under the multitude of customers they are attending to, but honestly if your main aim in a dining experience is great service, then rationally this place won't fit your 'fine dining' guidelines.
If, however, you are hungry for The Best Japanese, and want to reward your taste buds, take my suggestion *Visit Asap*.
