As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a not so friendly owner. We ordered the mezze platter (which was nice) and when we decided to order fesenjun (8 hour slow cooked chicken) the senior staff kept pushing us to order the lamb and she kept telling us how fragrant the lamb is. She offered to provide us with some samplers of her lamb dishes which we were happy to try.

No samplers were served. The chicken wasn't great it was quite dry. I was hoping it would be tender and fall off the bone as it had been cooked for 8 hours. We had the saffron and rose water icecream for dessert which was the best dish of the night. The serving was quite small though. I'm hoping there are better persian restaurants out there than this place.

I went here because other places were full but I won't be returning. The coffees were ok but everything else was terrible from the food to the hygiene. The cutlery had rust on it and the plates were still wet. We had ordered a big breakfast but when the food was served the bacon was cold. Don't order the French toast with bananas. You will receive one small piece of banana that is not ripe and very bland.

Lovely food with attentive service. The menu is not extensive but everything we ordered was divine especially the dessert. Will definitely return.
